Detroit Axle - 4WD Front 17pc End Kit for 2001-2006 Chevy Silverado 2500 HD

Fit my 2004 WJ perfectly. Seem heavy duty and super easy to install! Great value.

So far so good. Neatly packaged. I have not started putting on but everything is here and looks good. Ill update after installing. Look like they put love in packaging items.

Recently installed in my 2002 1500 4x4 Silverado perfectly. I don't know how long the kit will last but it seems solid enough. Not quite OEM quality but should be enough to last the remaining life of the truck which I'm guessing at 60,000 miles or more. Really, the only things that seemed less than OEM quality were the skinny sway bar links and the upper ball joint which didn't have provision for a zirc fitting.

Really nice parts. I installed them on my TJ without any problems. Everything bolted right up with no problems. All parts seem like good quality. Price was great for all I received. The best thing about the order was the customer service. FedEx delivered most of the parts. What they didn't lose in transit. I contacted the customer service department and they took care of me super fast. I really appreciate people like that. I world purchase from them again.

I received this front-end kit, it took me a few weeks to get to putting my truck in the shop , when I did get it in , I only had a weekend to get it done , whelp. I got it all together, everything felt OK going together, I took it for a test drive , all good for about a 1/4 mile , then the left front tire started squealing , I immediately slowed down and it locked up , I had to have it towed back to my shop , I got it up on the lift after investigation, I came to the conclusion that the left front outer shaft I bought from Detroit axle was machined wrong. Just a hair to long, this also damaged the hub assembly, anyways I had to have my truck back together so I had to go buy a shaft locally $$$$$$... got it back together and its all good, So I get ahold of Detroit axle, send them pics of their incorrect shaft , and they inform me they can 1. Send me another shaft or 2. Take 10% off my next order LOL , now none of this being caused by myself, I don't think thats good enough, very unhappy Detroit axle!.

The parts fit my 2005 Dodge Ram 1500 perfectly, and everything installed without any major issues. The truck drove smoother right away, and the steering felt tighter compared to the worn-out factory parts. For the price, it’s a solid full kit with pretty much everything you need for a front-end rebuild. My only complaint is the longevity some components didn’t hold up as long as I expected under normal daily driving. They work great at first, but I wish the durability matched OEM quality. Overall, it’s a good budget-friendly option if you want to refresh your front end without spending dealership prices, just don’t expect long term heavy duty performance.

If you are limping along an old Chrysler/Dodge and it has started creaking and banging in the front end, this has all the parts to stop it. Not sure how long they will last, but it comes with everything. The factory parts went over 200k miles....The lower ball joint that needs pressed in is a real booger. You will want the chrysler specific tool. The clamp kit that most people have contains sleeves that are either too big or too small and will result in frustration. I did not install the steering parts as mine are newer and these don't inspire confidence. I also did not use the bearing hubs yet, as mine are quiet and solid. I will Install those more questionable parts only when absolutely needed. Other than that, after an alignment, it's quiet and smooth again.
