Great activity’s in this book!!! I’m pleasantly surprised by the different activities and great questions. I got this for my friends kid to practice over the summer. He’s mad at me but I’m happy with the practice he will get haha. This also is a nice size book some of the other ones I got were small books and this one is a nice work book size

This is a really cool book. I ordered this book for my daughter she finished her other school books for the year so I thought I would just get her something to last until school ends. It came within a day after ordering and looking through it it's way better than I could have imagined. It has real life curriculum that our children should know. I will be purchasing the next level when this one's completed.

We are a big fan of Brian Quest Workbooks. This workbook includes various subject matters that 5th grader that are supposed to understand. The book provided brief explanation on each subject matter and include related exercises for the kids to refresh their memory. The length of each topic is about right and it is easy to understand. The only problem of the book is that the pages cannot be peeled off properly. There are a few situations that passages are printed on the back of one page and the questions are printed on the front of another page, therefore, I cannot peel the pages out because I might lose the passage on the back. I feel that is somehow inconvenient. If they can put the passage and questions on one single page, that would work much better.

We are a homeschool family and love the Brain Quest books as a supplement to use with our currículum. During summers we use BrainQuest books as a summer bridge course. It covers educational standards necessary for the school year. And helps our family stay on top and not forget all they’ve learned throughout the year. They enjoy the Brainquest cards and I’ve usually bought the BrainQuest and cards as a package. Didn’t realize it’s sold separately so we were sad to find that only the book arrived. But nonetheless, it’s a great educational resource. (Since, my kid is not yet proficient in spelling I am loving that this workbook includes the spelling vocabulary, LA, reading, and writing. Other books usually lack the spelling and vocabulary section and we’ve had to buy an additional spelling book for the summer.) This Grade 5 (ages 10-11) workbook includes the following subjects which are also sorted by different colors: Spelling and vocabulary Language arts Reading Writing Math skills Multiplication and division Fractions and decimals Geometry and measurements Probability and data Algebra Word problems Social studies Science Technology Answer key Brain quest extras: mini deck that you or student can cut out. (We will probably laminate our mini-deck to continue to reference throughout the school year). It also includes a certificate of Achievement!

I absolutely love the Brain Quest Workbook: 5th Grade Revised Edition! I bought this because my son was spending way too much time on electronics, and his behavior was becoming disruptive and even destructive at times. Since introducing this workbook, the change has been incredible! He genuinely enjoys working through the activities, and it has allowed me to cut back on his screen time without him feeling bored or restless. The subjects are well-organized and cover everything he needs for his grade level. The instructions are clear and easy to follow, which makes it simple for me to guide him through the lessons when needed. I also love the answer key in the back—it’s perfect for checking his work and helping him learn from mistakes. This workbook has not only improved his academic engagement but also his overall behavior at home. He’s more focused, calmer, and proud of his progress. If you’re looking for a way to keep your child learning and entertained without screens, this is an amazing resource. Highly recommend!

I purchased this and the cards to help my daughter over the summer get ready for 5th grade! I love that they go together! We always do a workbook and she earns rewards for the amount of pages she gets done and how well she does on them. It’s a great way to help your kids get prepared and I LOVE this brand. I love that the cards and book work together!

Love these books! I started using a different all in one curriculum and switched to this. These are great! I use for 3rd and 5th grades. They do need some supplementation so we do other assignments in combination with this. But these are our main source of schoolwork. Each lesson builds so you can go in order through each subject, and it covers a variety of material so it's sufficient. The book is rather thin so we do one page from each subject and I try to correlate relative assignments or discussion with some of them. Each has a "brain box" which is VERY useful! This is like the teacher instruction. It gives a great explanation of how to do the work and then gives an example including a breakdown of the example given. These are incredibly helpful for ME because I often need a review and this gives me everything I need to teach the lesson to my kids. Sometimes they don't understand the brain box and require me to paraphrase in a way they need. I LOVE the brain boxes. I'm so glad we got these books, were having a great year and a great time with these, and most importantly I know educationally my children are right where they need to be, and are caught up from a lack of education during our previous "virtual" school through the district. They are learning more this way in a shorter time. I was nervous to homeschool, afraid they wouldn't get the education they need, but we are all doing well and enjoying our time together in the process. It's a win win.

Good work book for kids, it covers all subjects, language, maths , science, social science.. Best way to keep the child busy. The thing what I didn’t like about it is,as it is an American book , social science part is all about America which is not of much help to my kid as we are in germany.
