I put them kid over the moving bowl of flour and salt carefully stirred, and sighed. Then I asked Google AI, and this time, I read the name of the product exactly as it was on the front of the label. As it turned out, I had not specified that it was instant dry yeast when I searched for a bread recipe, and that's why the recipe I used instructed me to mix the yeast into 100°f water and let it sit for 15 minutes. However, for INSTANT DRY YEAST, you need to add sugar or honey to the warm water before adding the yeast. I chose honey. The third packet was perfect, because I added honey to the water before adding the yeast and this time, the yeast foamed up and smelled wonderful. I'm so grateful that I'm able to share this because some of the reviews on here stating that it doesn't work, are probably from people who had a similar experience to how mine began, and they simply didn't realize that they needed to add sugar or honey.
