SG Tool Aid SGT18600 Crimping Tool (Open Barrel)

Great tool. As described. Works well in a heavy truck shop. I’ve used it for years with no issues. A lot cheaper than the tool truck.

Awesome oem Mercedes-Benz crimping tool for OE Mercedes-Benz electrical pin connector repairs.

Does what it's supposed to do. I've used it a couple of times to crimp 4mm bullet connectors onto 16, 18 and 20 gauge wire. Seems a bit pricey for what it is, but it works well.

If you are doing any terminals for connectors or any other noninsulated terminal, these. Get these. I've tried several of the automatic and ratcheting ones that constantly show up as "top rated" or "Amazon pick" and returned them all cause they can't get a solid crimp without pulling out. These work on small wires, large wires, and even the waterproof sleeves to keep them in place. Nothing fancy, these just work.

This is a really good tool, now keep in mind it does take some practice between making a good connection and a beautiful connection but this one was actually better than my Mac tool ratcheting open barrel crimper I just needed something quick now it’s my go to tool the thickness and feels really good and the crimps look beautiful

Love this open barrel crimper.I build aftermarket audio integration harnesses for automotive and this tool has stood the test of time.You can't beat the price either,it's pretty much paid for itself . Update 3/24/21: Still using these regularly and they are performing as good as when they were brand new.What an investment these were! I have probably performed 10,000 crimps with these things,amazing!

This tool does what it's supposed to -- curl crimp electrical connectors. It's well made, very robust and easy to use. It's a great value for the price.

Bought for crimping deutsch pins. Works pretty good for that even though it is not the intention. Would be 5 stars if they were spring loaded, but it's all manual which can make for some difficult one handed operation when doing the smaller connectors.

it's just the wrong size between over and under-crimping it doesn't fold the tabs over either could be made for a different connecter I'm not sure

This thing did an awesome job. Didn’t look like much when I opened the package but worked very well.

Great crimping tool! Works on different sizes and is a very consistent tool.

Does the job as expected

My hubby uses this tool all the time. His one comment was that the measurements did not exactly match up with the crimper slots, but it works!
