I absolutely love my Kanrel. I take it with me to the gym, errands, friends house, very versatile. I forget to clean it sometimes and there is never a smell. I'm cutting down on my bpa levels and helping the environment. Please help the environment and your health for the sake of our kids: CUT DOWN ON PLASTICS. The glass is very strong, I dropped it twice never broke and the silicone/plastic lid has no smell and mold never grows. Be sure your ice is filtered as well. The holder has somewhat of a rubber smell so I wash it often. It comes beautifully packaged and is a great gift idea. Hope I helped.
