Easy, Sturdy, and Worth Every Penny and More!
Can't praise this forge enough and as great as the forge is it pales next to their customer service. I'm a self-taught, fledgling blacksmith who has wanted to do this since I was young. This forge seemed like a cost effective avenue into getting into it. The price is pretty cheap. The quality is NOT. This thing is beefy, solid, and best of all beginner friendly on setup and operation. The owner includes a set of printed instructions with a FAQ that actually answered quite a few of my questions. Not to mention I had a few questions I couldn't find an answer for in that FAQ or online but I called him twice and he picked up both times and politely answered my questions clearly and effectively. I've turned it on 5 times and heats up very quick. The setup was super simple. I think I might have messed up on the refractory cement a little bit and will have to buy more but that's my fault. My only complaint is that it doesn't have at least a back door on it. But that was easily fixed with 3 fire bricks and once I get my welder I'm gonna throw a door on it myself. Other than that this thing has been nothing but a dream. If you're chewing on grabbing a forge I'd very much recommend this one!

Brimstone perfume.
"You get what you pay for." has always been a phrase I remember from my youth. I carry with me that lesson through life. I never buy the most expensive thing because I know that some of that price is nothing but prestige. I never by the cheapest thing because I know that some of those savings are made up for in poor quality. So when I bought a forge, which took me months of talking myself into it, I ended up buying this forge. It has met every criteria of that saying and my expectations. It is a solid monster of quality. The construction is immaculate. The setup is amazingly simple. The instructions are perfectly adequate, not that it needs much, and it is a true "Mom and Pop" product, made domestically. I could call them right now directly, and not a corporate number, but I have no reason to. The picture provided is the first 8 things I have ever forged in my life. If it was not for this forge I have no problem admitting they would not look as good as they do. If you are searching like I did for inspiration to start down this path... this is the forge to do it.

Awesome forge. But don’t mix the cement to thick. Like I didn’t the first time.
This forge is awesome and so is the customer service. I messed mine up when I applied the hell coat the first time. If your cement doesn’t spread with the provided brush it’s to thick. It will end up looking like the second pic I uploaded. And it will break and fall off very easily. The first pick is me getting it right the second time. (I honestly didn’t read the instructions completely nor did I watch the how to videos the first time .Don't do what I did look and watch it helps a-lot!!!) Like I said I love this forge it heats great and is very well made. Very easy to put together (read the instructions). All in all great product and great company.

A good, solid forge
It is a nice little forge I bought for my husband and son. It is not out of the box and ready to go type of tool. You have to put it together and prep the forge with provided mortar; which, isn't difficult if you have some skill base. The forge gets hot fast but it depends on the type and thickness of the metal for heating length. Forge welding takes a lot of propane. The biggest problem is having a large enough propane tank because a 5 gallon tank will freeze. To use less propane you can turn it down when you pull your material out. Overall, it is a good forage that is solidly made.

Best inexpensive porch
I had the Mr. volcano it was OK but I have plenty of problems with the walls falling apart because it’s so small inside. I got the vevore forge fit was the worst The doors on it literally melted off within a half hour using it. The metal is so thin that the burners holes melted in saged The insulation was for a best. they sent me a replacement and it was pure garbage as well. I have done many things with this hell forge and have been quite happy. For an inexpensive forge it works exceptionally well and has thicker walls then the other 2 I had. With that said my only complaint is the rubber hoses they’re too easy to melt if you’re not paying attention. I upgraded mine to a stainless steel and now I am quite happy Getting a 10 foot stainless steel hose off Amazon only added 20 bucks to the price

Great portable forge
I didn't do much research, as wanted to get started blacksmithing quickly. This turned out to be a great forge. I run one burner with the other choke closed off. I bought fire bricks to close off the unused end, and block part of the side I'm using. Even in 17 degrees and under in winter, this keeps got easily. Easy to assemble, and refractory not a difficult process either. I don't think the fire bricks this came with are going to hold up too long (for the forge floor). Maybe it was my temperatures or something. When they get too bad I'll buy a harder brick or ceramic plate. This is also super portable. I carry this out on a sled to my backyard to forge every weekend. I would recommend getting a 40lbs+ propane tank, if you're going to run this for multiple hours (I got one for good price on amazon - flame king). It's not a fault of the forge, propane bottles will freeze up with extended use. Bigger tank helps alleviate that.

An excellent gas forge.
This is my first gas forge, and all I can say is it's absolutly great. The item comes with all you need to get setup. Hell's Forge also has outstanding customer service that will answer all your questions in a very professional manner. The forge runs great and will heat your steel quickly. You can use one burner for most basic blacksmithing or you can use both for forge welding or longer items. All in all this is about the best investment I have made to my shop.

Made in America and it shows.
A great forge for the money. Gets up to temp reasonably fast and the square body is nice to have room to move around. It's a great piece of equipment for smithing and heat treatment. I've used it for a couple months now and have no complaints. The Max design is worth the extra cost compared to the regular cylinder shapes in my opinion. Lining with the included hellcote protectant was not that hard. I used a putty knife to make nice smooth walls, then broke a brick in half to block the rear. I find the remaining 1.5 blocks put inside are sufficient for resting whatever I'm heating.
