I have waist-length hair and use a variety of hair accessories to keep it out of my face, including headbands.I really like the design of these -- they're very pretty, and getting two makes them an economical choice (black and tortoiseshell). They're also well made -- no sharp edges, the intricate design is well-formed, etc.My only issue is that they're a little too tight for my head. I can wear one of these for about 2 hrs or so before I have to remove it. This isn't any fault of the manufacturer -- my head is probably a bit larger than "normal" and there's no way to determine how something like this will fit without trying it.So -- if your head is small- to normal-size, these will probably be just fine. If your head is a bit on the large side, these might be a little tight for you.

I have a small head. I'm not talking about sitting next to the guy in Beetlejuice small. Not orange between my shoulders small. But small. Baseball caps have to be tightened to almost their smallest placement kind of small.Now that we've got that straight, these headbands almost break every time I put them on my tiny head. They make a not so lovely cracking noise like they are going to break in two at any second EVERY. SINGLE. TIME.Admittedly, once they're on, they don't feel tight. It's just that *crack*. It gives me anxiety.Other than that, the headbands are very pretty. If you also have a small head and can'thandle anxiety inducing sounds, or have a little one running around with hair flopping in their face, I recommend them. They look good and hold hair well.

However....these are far to uncomfortable on the head for me to wear longer than 30 mins.

Was looking for a wider headband and picked this as they are hard to find. Wish it wasn't so shiny. Also wish it would fit a bit better as it doesn't conform to the head all that well but then again, it's plastic.

Really like the width. After a couple of hours it pinches. It comes down so far on the sides it give me a headache. It does keep the hair pulled back. Otherwise i really lije them.

I have naturally curly hair and thick hair. This headband holds my hair does not move and does not give me a headache. It is very comfortable to wear and looks great in my hair. It is stylish and looks great dressed up or down. I really recommend this headband.

To be honest, the only reason I bought these headbands is because my daughter had one like it that I accidentally broke so I had to buy a new one quick. They arrived in great packaging material that was easy to open. My daughter was so excited to get two of them and she really liked that there were two different colors. And I admit, they look really nice on her. I just think $5/headband is NOT a good deal. I can't complain much though because my daughter has really thick hair and they hold it back. She wears them all the time, they are her "go to" headbands. (She's 5).TLDR:Pros: good quality, holds thick hair well, looks nice, come in a set, packaged well.Cons: Price -- $5/headband

Used one for a medusa head piece I zip tired rubber snakes to it and it worked out better than I thought! One thing I find with all plastic headbands is they dig in behind the ears so I added some felt cushions and it helped greatly and isnt noticable..
