Fusion Urban French Horn Fixed Bag (UB-08-BK)

I absolutely love this bag! I've had it for three months. It is comfortable to carry my Holton 179, and has roomy pockets for extra items. I am looking to purchase the fuse on attachment bag to carry my extra thick binder. This bag makes my busy life somewhat easier! Get it!

TERRIBLE DESIGN for a horn bag. You have to wonder if the designers of this bag know what a french horn looks like. It was a struggle to get my Conn 6D in and out of the this bag. The 6D is not that big of a horn! I would have to push and pull hard on the horn to get it in or out. Would it have been that hard to make an affordable bag that opened up completely? There are several cheaper bags that completely open so your horn will be secure. It is ridiculous that a bag this expensive would be designed so poorly. I wish I could give it less than one star. Its the first amazon item I have ever needed to return.

Seems to be built more for male proportions. Bell section hits me in the back of the head. Also hard to slip instrument in. VERY snug fit for my Conn 8D

VERY NICE bag. Got this for my daughter’s Holton H-179 - perfect fit.

This bag was for my grandson, who plays the French Horn. He is currently at the NC School of the Arts and find the bag wonderful for carrying his horn.

I purchased this bag for my son to use while in university. Fretting that he would loose either the horn or his backpack (that holds his computer) on his daily commute on the bus. My son is not that impressed the bell will still hit him on the back of the head and uncertain there will be enough structure to actually protect the horn (not from his head but the daily up and down). There is fairly dense foam structure however I was not impressed with the the threads and bits of material left hanging. I feel this is a lot of money for this quality, and am considering sending it back

Very light weight with many options for strap configurations. Also many pockets and seems solid. Only downside is that it takes some pushing and maneuvering to get the bell portion into the case given the zipper/opening being where it is.
