We have used these for over ten years in our camp trailer (under kitchen sink). The price has more than doubled over the past three purchases to the point we will try to find something else to filter our drinking water with next round. Also, the filter came pretty battered, the box (not the shipping box, but the retail container) was crushed and open on one end, and the filter was scraped and looked used. It wasn't used, but it really was battered. When I installed it and began the flushing process, it spit charcoal blackness everywhere (like there was air with it) for maybe 90 seconds. Then the water coming out was cloudy. I thought maybe it was just aereated, so I tasted it. Yuck. Very salty taste! I ran water through it for another three minutes and eventually it cleared up. So I'm thinking the insides of this one were pretty disturbed somewhere along the way. Not sure whose fault that was, but it appeared it went into the Amazon box that way.

We have been using this product for years. Does a wonderful job and gives us great tasting water. Very easy to install, too!

We are using this filter for our fifth wheel camper to help keep our water have a great taste and no bad flavor loved the price. It was also very easy to install.

used in my 94 Fleetwood Southwind motor home. was an exact replacement and fit/hooked into all existing connections. read all the contaminants it filters out and that's important in a RV that doesn't get it water changed/flushed out often enough. don't need anyone getting sick from the water in my RV.
