this keyboard has been one of my favorite purchases for my ipad. full disclosure, i also have a “folio” style that i use primarily, but i keep this keyboard case for writing assignments/amazon reviews :). It’s very lightweight, easy to install and take out the ipad without too much effort. does not impede the ability to charge the pencil, though if you put a silicone or thick skin/case on your pencil, it may not fit as well or at all (mine can still fit a little, enough to attach and charge). the battery life is good, i have charged it infrequently and have yet to experience it dying on me; i’m also very bad about leaving it on, so the automatic sleep is a blessing. the light up keys can be changed to a RGB color scheme or CMY, which i personally prefer :) it’s very pretty!overall, i recommend this to anyone; note that it DOES NOT “fold” to use as a tablet, this is why i also have a folio case. i also do not use it heavily so if you would, consider that.

Update: Earto really has the best customer service! They emailed me a manual and a video to show me how to carefully place my iPad in it. It worked and didn't scratch it. But then I realized it didn't tilt all the way to make it easier to draw on. That was an oversight on my part for not paying attention to the product description and isn't Earto's fault. They really made a lovely product with a comfortable keyboard. If you're going to get this for writing of any kind, I recommend it. The colored keys really are beautiful too!Original review: I was reading reviews about this product and luckily learned about the concern that it could potentially scratch my ipad. I was trying to be careful in inserting from the bottom or top to see which way was best but was too afraid to snap it into place.As shown in the pictures, it has a hard little piece of material that would hold it into place but I tried expanding it slightly or maneuvering my ipad to avoid it scratching against my tablet and it wouldnt - which is fine. But I didn't want to risk it.It does look beautiful though. It has a comfortable fit (I was pretending to type on it to see how it would feel to type on it and it feels like a regular laptop) which was way above the keyboard I have for my tab3.The backlight works and was also beautiful and bright and it isnt as heavy as other people mentioned (but I'm probably just not bothered by weight).I LOVE the color and I really want to like it but I wish I wasn't scared to scratch my expensive tablet. I might have to return it to get a softer case.

This case was decent, but it was heavier than I would have liked and it was also very tight and hard to get the iPad in. I tried every which way to get it in and finally it fit, but I got little scratch marks on my iPad.The pros -It looks great.Once in the keyboard works well.The cons -It’s just about the same weight as my MacBook Air when it’s all on.It’s very tight and hard to get in.The iPad ends up being heavier than the keyboard so it will flip over if you have it tilted all the way back.

This is everything you’d want in an iPad keyboard case. The keyboard has great battery life (it puts itself to sleep if you don’t use it for awhile), there’s a slot for an Apple Pencil on the side of the iPad that it charges on so it’s never dead when you go to reach for it, and most importantly, it solidly protect’s the iPad inside. It’s slim and lightweight, so it’s not going to weigh you down much more than the iPad. (It’s gotta have a little weight to sit upright, but it’s not made of bulky military grade material, so you you’ll barely notice after awhile. That being said, you should still be careful with it, as you should anything with an expensive piece of equipment inside.) If you’re looking to have your iPad double as a pseudo-laptop, you can’t go wrong with this case. Great price, great product.

I do not use mine very much but notice that keys were starting to fall off. You can try to super glue back. Kindly costly but did the job.

I received the keyboard but did not like the color. Although the keyboard worked great the WiFi stopped connecting. The company has emailed consistently and will send a brand new one. So I’m greatful. Thanks.*I received my new iPad case as promised. The company forgot that I wanted a different color as I did not like the how the pink appears. It looks cheap. But I will deal with it. The case is working fine. A few pointers about pairing. If the case does not pair right away turn of your iPad and restart it and pair again. This happened to me and once I restarted my iPad it paired easily. I will write another review later on to tell if it’s still working out fine. Overall great company and they keep their word so I’m happy about that. I would definitely do business with them again.

It already scratched my brand new iPad Pro 12.9. The case is a bit heavy. Cute though. I love the light up keyboard and laptop feel. I just wished it was like Logitech where the keyboard was charged as well when I charge the iPad. But this one you have to charge separately with 2 different cords

I got this case/keyboard a couple of days ago. I was having a little bit of trouble connecting the keyboard (operator error), so I reached out to customer service. Their response was very quick and got me up and running immediately. The case is just beautiful, and extremely sturdy yet lightweight. Cannot attest to the battery life yet, so will update this if it is anything less than EXCELLENT. I do very much like the feel of the keyboard. Also, some reviews complained about possibly scratching the iPad upon insertion to the case...I did not find this at all. It was very easy to insert and holds my precious iPad very securely. I truly feel like I have a new, light, touchscreen laptop now and totally love this setup. Highly recommend!!
