Popcorn connoisseur here I'm a give you guys the realest review not to detailed but hit on why 5 stars. Funny, the reasons I have it at 5 are not for the reasons everyone else that bought this product did. Ok, review time: 1st, no cons for me because I'm real. I've read other comments and reviews on here and if you actually think that you can duplicate tin can caramel popcorn in your microwave you're funny. Cmon guys just like popcorn at the movies you may be able to come super close but it'll never be the same. Microwave time: My bag of popcorn took about 2min. 40 sec. I started out at 2 min., but as time winded down, the bag was still popping like crazy so I just hit the +30 sec button. Had to do that twice. Your microwave may be faster; just don't be silly and use the popcorn button. Like ever. again. in. your. life. Stay in the kitchen and listen for about a 3 sec delay between pops (And I mean a SOLID 3 seconds) before you pull the bag out the microwave. As far as eating this stuff, I waited the amount of time I do for regular microwave popcorn; didnt wait like you should for the best coating taste, but seriously it smelled so good, I was excited and I'm a greedy dude so I went in early and it was delicious my friends. Someone posted that it's more delicious the cooler it gets and YES this is true! I cleaned up my kitchen and went back to it and went it cooled? Mmmmmmm... Taste: Yum although keeping it a buck it isn't tin can status but it is really good to come out of a microwave. Imagine a popcorn between kettle corn and caramel tin can popcorn. It's little sweeter than KK but not quite as sweet as tin can caramel PC. Sooo good mmm. Unopened kernels: Some reviewers had a lot leftover, I didnt. It was the standard amount. Look guys, this is caramel popcorn not reg. popcorn. It's new tech, so don't be cocky about this situation. Follow instructions. LISTEN for the pops. Stay in the kitchen. Things you should be doing anyway to ensure a top tier pop. You're never ever gonna get all the kernels or even have like 5 left EVER and trying to do so will just burn the good stuff in the bag. Pro tip: Before you pop ANY popcorn in the wave, massage the kernels in the bag TOWARDS THE SAUCE (GENTLE enough tho so that you don't break the bag) so that your popcorn oil, caramel sauce, etc. or whatever is evenly distributed. It works trust me.. **These are the snack size bags btw not the standard ones. They are slightly smaller. If you're making this stuff for more than one person, you may want to pop 2 or 3 bags and also order a larger capacity box... In closing, I will say I would definitely buy this again. Pop Secret strikes again! It suits my tastes, was inexpensive and easy to make. YUM!!! Go for it!!!!

I’m already on my third order of this caramel popcorn and I’m officially hooked. If you’re a fan of kettle corn, you’ll definitely enjoy this. The caramel flavor is great on its own, but my personal "pro-tip" is to add a little salt immediately after it comes out of the microwave. It creates an elite salted-caramel effect that really makes the sweetness pop. Just a heads-up on the prep: in my experience, it actually pops faster than the instructions on the box suggest. I’d recommend staying close by and listening to the pops rather than just walking away, so you don't accidentally burn it. Overall, it's a fantastic snack that I’ll be keep ordering!

We are very fond of caramel popcorn and thought this would be an easy way to have it at home. First of all, I think it is overpriced with only three packets inside. Followed directions carefully and after short time, thought we smelled something burning. Let the popcorn run its course and when opened there was a glob of sweet sticky stuff burned black on the bottom, far too many unpopped kernels and of course, the rest tasted of smoke. Managed to retrieve a little bit of the caramel popcorn butt not much for the price. Not a great experience. Would not buy it again.

I was skeptical about this purchase based on other reviews. I opted for the 3 pack which was only $2.50. I massaged the oil & kernels in the pack to make sure they were coated. I have a 1000W microwave and set it for 3 minutes. It was about a minute and 40 seconds before I heard the first pop which made me nervous since others complained of burning and smoking. Do not use the microwave setting, do not leave it unattended, do not even blink (jk). I stopped it about 15 seconds early. As another reviewer suggested, I shook the bag to disburse the coating and WAITED about 2 minutes while I washed the microwave tray (some coating residue was left behind). This allowed the coating to crisp up (like magic shell). As a previous review pointed out - this is microwave caramel popcorn - it is not $25 movie theater caramel popcorn. With that said, I think it’s very good. It does have a slight maple undertone. Personally, I’m glad that I gave this a chance. I will definitely purchase it again. I mixed it with some jolly time cheddar popcorn that I made.

Tastes Great but the popping quality is bad. I burnt one so badly I had to toss it even though I responded to the pop rate like I did other types. Tried to get the second one out sooner and it was just a little burnt. Got the third one out sooner and was left with a lot of un-popped kernels.

So good but burns in the middle every time.

This caramel corn is addictive. It will smell up your microwave but who does not like a caramel smell. It taste great, just the right amount of coating.

It's tasty, as advertised. The popcorn tends to melt and stick to the bag though, even worse so if you burnt it, but still worth it.
