PILOT Namiki Standard Fountain Pen Ink, Black, 60ml Bottle (69200)

This is the first time I've tried the Namiki ink product, and I am impressed with the quality. The ink's color is a vibrant, pleasing black, which is what I was hoping for in my writing projects. I used the ink first in my oldest fountain pen, a 1950's Sheaffer's Craftsman that my father used in high school. This pen utilizes a type of "tip-dip" snorkel filling system. The writing was smooth, consistent. I didn't experience any blobs or leaks. Next, I used the ink in my newest fountain pen, a Pilot MR Retro Pop edition that has a squeez converter to draw the ink. The process was quick, clean, and easy. Once again, the ink flowed nicely onto the page and dried quickly--no strays or smudges. I would buy this product again with no worries. // PS: I love the design of the bottle. It's quite elegant.:) // UPDATE, April 27, 2017: I've used this ink with Koolemon Crystal Glass Dip Pen Glass Signature Pen Business Present, and the experience was impressive.

This is a standard black ink for fountain pens, and would work well with everyday business writing as well as personal writing.

I bought this as a daily writing ink for my kaweco sport. Ive used it with a M and F nib and I love this ink. In my use it had left a more consistent color instead of some other inks that fade at the start and get darker around the end or with letters that double back on eachother in cursive. The cup inside the bottle makes setting the nib in and filling the converter easy with minimal mess. It's price point also makes it an easy choice for me to keep using it when my bottle runs out.

This ink is wonderful in use with Lamy products. I've been using it in my fountain pen and it has never dried up or leaked out. The ink is dark and flows really well. Does not clump, does not dry out in reservoir with the cap.

First time getting into ink for a new fountain pen, so I decided to try to practice with this ink.I found that this ink made a very good impression on me.I feel like it is both very well crafted ink and has been for a very long.Good stuff.

This is the best ink. I won’t use anything else.

I have a number of pens, some that flex, and some that don't. The flexible nibs are finicky about the ink and paper with which they are used. This stuff just works, regardless of paper, regardless of nib size, regardless of whether steel or gold. My standard ink. Wish I'd known before trying all that other stuff. Recommended.

I have recently gotten into using inks with my watercolors, but i also like to write. This ink allows for a happy medium! I can use it on its own to paint/draw or in my fountain pens. I dont know much about inks, but it seems to be the same color as one of my favorite ballpoint pens, uniball signo, which makes me happy. (Its like a cool black) Plus, it has like an inner plastic well for when you finally get to the bottom of the bottle. And the bottle is glass which is a major point in its favor, in my opinion!
