I've used iron-on patches in the past, and they always needed to be redone after a few washings. I ordered these patches because they came in 5 different shades of blue - just like the jeans in my wardrobe with each of them a different depths of blue. These easy-to-apply patches save me money over buying new jeans. On first use, they rescued a pair of my favorite jeans that I would have otherwise discarded. Matching the color of the patch to the jeans, I ended up with an inconspicuously repaired pair of jeans that lasted through several washings. These patches stay put! Even used on heavy denim, they do not peel off or loosen. All in all, I have extended the life of my denim collection. I highly recommend this product.

excellent product...helped me to continue using some jeans that had some wear and tear but were still useful. easy to apply and sticks very well even after washing; great color options for a variety of denim colors

They did the job but didn't stay for very long. I followed the instructions to a T but they peeled on the first wash. I can't complain because they look good and match the color of my jeans. They feel nice on the inside against my skin and they're easy to apply. I highly recommend adding some stitching around the edges to lock them in place.

Good selection of colors with these iron on patches. I have used them on the inside of jeans to patch holes or shredding and they last very well. Pants have washed numerous times and they remain on the inside of the pants, they do not wash over or loosen over time

Iron on patches I follow the instructions plus used fabric glue husband but them on the next day as you have to wait 24 hours and with in hours the patch was starting to come off in the corner it says you can reapply up to 3,times I will iron patches on again

These worked great to extend the life of my Kindergartener's jeans. He cut a small hole in them with scissors. These patches were easy to use, and have stayed on well for several months now. While I was at it, I patched up the knees of many of his pants which were getting worn down from play. I also patched up my jean jacket. I couldn't find the perfect color match for my jacket, so I ended up using a darker color and cutting the patch into a geometric shape. I liked that better for my own clothes, kind of a new added feature to look intentional. Then, I figured out that you can patch from the inside just as well, you'll just see a small outline of the tear or hole if you do it that way.

Its good to keep a pack in the laundry room. You never know when you need a patch. These are good.

I used these on a couple pairs of jeans where the knees were beginning to develop holes. They had not fully worn through yet. I applied the patches from the back. They seem to have worked well and have made it through a wash without detaching. I did however preheat the iron on the highest setting and then pressed them on using as much pressure as I could and I ironed them for double the time called for after reading other reviews. The material is not actually denim but it looks close enough. The patches are somewhat stiff. Hopefully that changes after multiple washes. For the price they worked great and saved a couple pairs of jeans. In my opinion they are suitable if you use them for decorative applications or to reinforce worn areas but you would probably be better off with sew on patches if you have full blown holes in your jeans. You do get a nice variety of colors in the packs.
