Cool Mini or Not - Zombicide Invader - Board Game

My friends have had their own copies of the original zombicide and Zombicide black plague, which i've played with them and thoroughly enjoyed; I preferred the science fiction setting and picked up invader instead. The box comes with quality figures and well printed interchangable dungeon tiles for swapping up your game and designing your own layouts, although, the box comes with about 17 missions of it's own, all of varying levels of difficulty. The games rules are fun yet not complex so you shouldn't be reading the rulebook for too long before you play it for the first time. one problem i had was putting all the miniatures back, the vaccuum formed molds where they sit don't have a shape that makes it clear where they all go back once you're done and as always with board games, any cards that you've had to use have a tendency to spill around inside the box if you're transporting it anywhere, which is an easy enough fix if you were to buy some re-sealable plastic bags for the set. Overall, lots of fun, £90 seems expensive, butthere's a lot of min's in the box and it's all high quality, would 100% recommend.

This was our first experience of the Zombicide series. We were missing a sci-fi tabletop game in our lockdown collection and this seemed to fit the bill. We found it easy to pick up and learn. Nice mechanics, great quality minis, tokens and boards. Great storage too, everything fits into the box nicely. The starter scenario eases you into the gameplay gently and it doesn't feel too busy so you can get a good feel for the game straight away. The rule book is clear and navigating it was easy, there are a few specific rules we had to keep dipping in for. You never play the same scenario the same way twice as a lot depends on the luck of the draw on the Xeno cards. It's easy to change difficulty too, adding in extra cards to the deck. If there was a slight criticism it has to be the tabletop real estate it takes up, two players controlling three characters each with cards, dashboards tokens and the game boards as well as all of the minis on hand and you're looking at filling a good sized kitchen table quite easily. However most games like this eat table space so it's expected. Overall, a fun, light and easy playing game. There are loads of other scenarios on the CMON Zombicide website too so there's plenty of variation and replayability.

Really high quality game. All pieces included such as board pieces, characters etc are all top quality and great to look at. I have never been a fan of board games, I always opted for video games in the past but this game is intricate yet easy to learn and super fun to play. Loving it so far. Only downside is that you cannot buy additional zombies if you want more to play with!

Like the other zombicide games this is very easy to pick up and learn and very easy to set up and play. Suffice to say that it's not a peaceful game, with much slaughtering and mayhem. The figures are nicely designed with fairly clean moulds and only a little flashing to remove. They are sufficiently detailed that painting the figures after washing and undercoating would definitely enhance them. As with the other zombicide games there are more missions and tasks available on the company website. Great for wasting a few hours over holidays, wet weekends and evenings when there's just reality and game shows on the tv. While this is a bit on the expensive side considering it's plastic and card, there is some thought gone in to designing the game and the figures that come with this and the expansions. In fact, with this box has a lot in it in regards to the plastic figures with a good selection of alien beasties and some very nice characters for play. For miniature collectors and table top gaming fans this is probably value for money. For an occasional wet weekend or evening game to waste time this may not level out the cost of purchase. Speaking for myself, once I saw this set and went through the booklet and the website I bought the other sets that go with this one and they match up very well. Expanding both the missions, game boards and the figures. The "boss" beasties are beautifully designed and moulded. Again, I still think this is on the expensive side, but what isn't these days?

I couldn't BELIEVE the speed this game was delivered. I ordered it from the UK on one day, and it arrived two days later (all the way to Ireland). The game itself is incredible... simply amazing value for money (I`d encourage anyone interested to check out the many reviews on you tube). Its as good, and more so, than it looks on the screen. I have played it myself (before I got mine) and can vouch, if you like Zombicide, Black Plague, or Green Horde, you`ll like this one - it plays even better and is more streamlined.

The rules are concise. The set feels like they've learnt heavily from the past iterations of the game, and it's a lot of fun. The one big critique I have, is that if you want 'everything' then it gets rediculous... Kickstarter characters and enemies(loads of them). Even another game you need + invader's kickstarter stuff if you want those characters, and yet another game, but in it's kickstarter version, if you want those. Oh and there's a character from a dice tower kickstarter too... You don't need any of that stuff, mind you... But if you are a completionist, be warned.

My boyfriend and I are super fans of the Zombicide series and this version is a great addition to it! Highly recommended!

This is top notch product as a boardgame and a miniature collection. Must buy if you are interested in anything related with plastic miniatures and rolling dice.

Excellent Zombicide, on remplace les zombis pas des xenos, et on ajoute de l'excellent matériel. Je recommande chaudement ! Édition originale en anglais, mais très facile a lire.

Very cool models and an amazing concept but kind of hard to learn and kind of hard to engage a child in. I bought this for my older zombie loving son and its been hard getting him to be attentive to the rules - of which there are a lot. But its such a cool system and a really neat game with fun missions and fun fighting methods.

Product is as ordered. Easy transaction and arrived as expected and in good condition.

El juego en general es excelente, me encantó, el único detalle es que de las 14 miniaturas llamadas "Hunters" me vinieron 8 y 6 y no 7 y 7, es decir, trae 8 "Hunters" con el brazo extendido derecho y 6 con el brazo extendido izquierdo, y esto provoca que no embone con la forma del plástico que tiene la caja. Muestro imágenes ejemplo. Actualización: Amazon me resolvió el asunto y he cambiado mi calificación, la verdad es que tiene un excelente servicio a cliente.

Los componentes son calidad media, es mi primer zombicide y había jugando antes el black plague, este tiene algunas mecánicas nuevas pero realmente es el mismo juego, la temática del espacio me gustó mucho, las misiones no son tan fáciles como parecen, recomiendo descargar el manual en español para que queden claras las.reglas ya que quedan muchas dudas en las primeras partidas
