Confirmat Screws Need Special Holes
I use Confirmat screws in expensive 3/4 plywood, to make frameless cabinets. The plywood is not hard -- the core is just regular fir wood. It takes as many as 40 screws to assemble a 5-drawer cabinet. This does the job nicely. It wears out after a couple hundred holes, so one drill bit won't do very many cabinets. For what they are, these bits are overpriced. In the total budget, though, it is not a big item to get a couple extra bits. They sure do save time that would be needed to do separate countersink operations.

good
works good. I do not like the way it drills deep and head of screw sits half way thru 3/4 inch board

Drills nicely through MDF/Particle board, also through fingers ;(
Built a bunch of built in bookcases using melamine coated particle board. This bit worked great for the confirmat screws. I used a long 1/8" bit first with a jig I made to get the screws in the right place and straight. After drilling with the pilot bit, this bit will follow the pilot hole making the hole straight. I tried eyeballing at first, but found that to be a bad idea when the bit went partially through my finger that was supporting the shelf board.

Works fine for confirmat screws
Worked great for using confirmat screws and counter setting them. Still seemed on the pricy side but it has did a good job drilling a couple hundred holes so far.
