Another very short story. This one with Matt and Leila. Good story, good writing. HEA. I would recommend it if you like short stories.

I enjoyed Matt and Leilas fing their road to their HEA. I'm looking forward to book 3 in this series. I will definitely recommend this book to everyone.

Wanted A More Rounded Plot
3.5 Stars - The his is the 2nd book in the series. I loved book one, but book two...not so much. I am O.K. with the Bear Shifters, but gator shifters just did not appeal to me. I would have awarded this more had there not been that. Just not appealing for me. Matt Long had a long way to go for redemption in this book for me, but he did do so, for that made me happy. Leila was too aggressive for me. She appeared to be in the category of way too overly sexual. I never thought I would say that because I love books that sizzle, but she was a turn off for me. I needed a more rounded plot.

Grumpy Bear pulls his head out of his butt
After his brother Alex inherited the Long Ranch, Matt took off to lick his wounds and grapple with what he saw as an injustice, the lost of control over the ranch he loved. At first it was hard to admit that he was at fault for not telling his father how much he loved him and the ranch. Now it was too late. He spent months isolated at his cabin in his bear form. Until Leila confronted him. Leila was on the run from her ex, a gater sifter. Bribing Beatrix a matchmaker for mail order bribes, Leila takes the place of a woman meant to be sent to Matt as his bride. Fate has stepped in a grumpy, sulky bear and a lady on the run from an abusive ex have finally found their mates. The story was a bit light on the storyline while, I would have liked to get to know both Matt and Leila a little more outside the bedroom. Matt’s family did show up and it was nice to know what happened with Alex and Elizabeth from the first book. I enjoyed the quick read and think reading them in order connected me more to the family saga. A quick read with an HEA.

Enjoyable Read!
I liked this story and the lead characters. Leila was a breath of fresh air and Matt needed someone to snap him out of his pity party. More of a showdown with her ex would have been good, but this was short, fun, and steamy. Read it!

Short and sweet
Super cute quick read with a wonderful pairing of characters. I wish we got a little more information in the story. It is hard when it is so short but I think I would be even better if it was a little more flushed out.

You have got to read these stories! Some are so romantic, some touching and the last one was funny I laughed out loud (at 2 in the morning, almost waking everyone up).
