My iPad Pro keyboard case failed. Apparently, it’s a common issue, there are even YouTube videos of people trying to repair them. To be honest, I did buy a roll of copper tape and self adhesive tape and tried it, but no luck at all. So my £160 apple case joined the contents of our bin! I was really unhappy having to buy another, knowing it’ll barely last past warranty, given the high price. So, this keyboard had lots of good reviews, good price etc. My only reservation was if I would be able to fold the case back on itself, like the Apple one, so I could use the iPad in tablet mode. YES! you can do this. I am so pleased with the case and keyboard. It is sturdy when typing, can be detached if you are working on a desk and would like more room. The Bluetooth connection is great. Once the initial set up has been done, it connects automatically as soon as I press any key. Better than this, if I want to use my iPad in tablet mode, I just swipe down and toggle-off the Bluetooth so I can use the screen keyboard. When I want the physical one again, just toggle the bluetooth back on again and press any key - perfect. I have read the other reviews about the missing pound sign. Mine seems fine, just press shift+3 (the 3 key has the hash-tag above it) and it the £ pings up! The keybaord and case is heavier than the Apple one, but that’s fine with me. This one feels more sturdy, I prefer the wrap around case and it works perfectly and at £120 cheaper, there Apple case is not even close.

I bought this for my Ipad Pro A1701I was a little sceptical about this product as it isn't costly. The product arrived packaged well, and from opening the box everything was straight forward.The instructions were very simple - basically:1) Charge the keyboard with the cable provided.2) Once charged turn on the keyboard3) Open Bluetooth on the Ipad4) Press connect button on the keyboard5) Find device on the Ipad and connectMy Ipad asked for a pairing code to be entered on the keyboard, which I did and connected perfectly.So, the Ipad case is a little heavier than a standard case, but that is expected given you have the keyboard and a magnet to keep the keyboard in place. The Keyboard itself is full width of the Ipad and detachable.I didn't realise how much I needed the keyboard until I started to use it. Before I would turn on the laptop to respond to emails (the on screen keyboard is a little annoying), but now simply type from the Ipad. The pen is held securely in the groove and although you have to reach from behind the Ipad to pop out, I would rather that than the loose elastic I had on my previous case.Overall, the quality of the case is very good and when shut looks very smart, easy to setup and well worth the money. I certainly would recommend this product.

At first glance, the keyboard seemed absolutely fine; fits well and no connection problems with my 2019 iPad Air. Once I began to try and type using punctuation and capitals, it became obvious how defective this product was. The Caps Lock key triggered the language toggle (so you can't actually toggle Caps), and trying to use basic punctuation (full stops, commas) requires you to hold down one of the various function keys (you have to spend ages figuring out which one). The keyboard is impractical and not functional. Maybe this is an iPad Air issue only, but it was unfortunately a complete waste of my time, so will be sending straight back.

The product seems well made. It was very easy to set up. My wife thinks it is on the heavy side, but I would much prefer a well made keyboard/case than worry about slight differences in weight. It works very well so far, and really hope it lasts. It is hard to know what you are buying over the internet, but have to say on this occasion it has exceeded my expections.

I have been using the keyboard for a while now and I find it to be a great product. First of all as a case it offers high level of protection as it has a rubber like material fully enclosing the ipad. That being said all control, buttons and ports are fully accessible.Two design features make this product stand out from its competition.- The first one is the pencil holder. It remains in place perfectly and at the same time it is really easy to remove. What I found to be good attention to detail is that there is also a holder for the adaptor (the one you can use to charge the pencil form a wall charger) as well as for the protective cup for when you are charging your pen.- The second one is the fact that the keyboard is removable. This is so convenient as you can place the iPad further away and tilt it even more than other cases. The keyboard attaches to the case magnetically so it is very easy to move it in place and take it out.

It's an ok product. Protects the iPad well but the pen slot is very cumbersome to use. Nearly impossible to get the pen out sometimes.Updated - 1 March 2020I am very pleased with the seller. I was offered a new iPad cover and keyboard. The new one works like a charm. No issues at all. Thanks for the prompt action to resolve my issue. 5 stars!

If you are using iPad Air 3rd Gen 2019 - DO NOT BUY! It screws up the wifi signal, the Bluetooth and it does not work at all! Period!

Previous q and a had suggested the keyboard was not fully detachable. It is. Comes completely away from the case as it is attached by magnets. This is useful as I use the keyboard for both my iPad but also Bluetooth connect it to my firestick. The case itself is good quality. The only slight downside is the weight, it does make the iPad quite heavy when in the case with the keyboard. Of course there is a pay off that it feels like good quality and the iPad is very protected so I think the weight is worth it.
