An excelent replacement for the famous "Yankee Srewdriver
I have purchased and used many Eazypower tools in the past, and all have been excellent. I just received this tool, and I'm glad that I ignored the negative reviews. It was a little stiff at first, but a few drops of oil took care of that problem, and it now functions very nicely. This will be very helpful for a significant amount of furniture assembly that I expect to be doing soon, and it makes much more sense than spending far more on electric tools and batteries. It is very handy that this tool can be locked in its retracted position for storage in my tool bag, and additionally, that will aid in keeping the mechanism free of dust and dirt.

It's not a toy.
It's a real tool. But it would have been nice to have some drill bits. Update: the turning action isn't strong enough to drill a hole but if the hole is already there, it's a really fun and clever tool. Like a ratcheting screwdriver on steroids. I should've bought the old fashioned hand mixer type manual drill that my grandfather had. You know what? I think 🤔 I will.

As Good As the “Real Thing” at Bargain Price
Works almost as good as the “real thing” at 1/4 the cost. Could work a little smoother, but brand new so I expect will wear in over time. Good selection of bits. Accepts standard hex bits you can buy anywhere and probably already have. BIG plus! I like size of handle snd rubber-coated handle which provides comfortable, secure grip. I am disappointed that bits don’t store in handle or I would give it 5 stars.

Not a reliable tool, lacking quality manufacturing
Although I bought this spiral screwdriver three years ago, I used it on the rare occasion. Fast forward three years and I was asked to work on a robot mod project and brought this tool along, sensing the unknown nature of the project. It proved a necessary item. However, after one week on the project, the tool began to jam and was difficult to switch from forward and reverse. Come the weekend, I took the tool apart and found one of teeth had broken off one the brass spiral gears. While it the tool is not expensive, I do not like to just throw tools away and buy a new one, especially one I have not used often. No parts available and I have looked for a suitable, replacement tool, not wanting to buy the same one once again. Not much quality ones out there, unless buying an antique Yankee spiral screwdriver. I do not recommend this tool.

Reminds me of my grandfather's push drill!
Hello. I had a small job of installing a padlock with a hasp. I didn't want to invest the money in an electric drill for such a small job. I remembered this type of drill amongst my grandfather's tools. After a bit of searching I came across this. It worked great, just like the older ones. Since I had experience with this type of drill, I didn't need the instructions, of which there really aren't any. So, it's a great little push drill, but there weren't a lot of written instructions. It also seems well made. Thank-you.

Best as a screwdriver
It works great as a screwdriver if you to install a lot of cover plates but any other job its not very good. Also quality is pretty low since I just got mine not long ago and it came undone in 2 piece, it's easy to fix but often falls apart. Other then that it's an okay tool, depending on the job it could be great or bad but it could be improved on to make it better.

Must have tool
This is now my favorite tool! Main use is for starting holes in walls or doors for screws. I bought it mainly for use as a drill, but it is also a screwdriver. I remember playing with this as a kid, curious about how it worked. I do wish there was instructions but its pretty easy to figure out. Little tricky putting in the bit. That's where instructions would be helpful. Cannot find this in stores. Took it to HD and the guys there thought it was pretty cool. So much better than lugging a drill around. Goes right in the tool bag.

Wll built tool.
I purchased this push/pull drill for my shop to use on small projects when I don't want to drag out my electric or cordless drills. It's great for when you need one or two holes. I have another "Yankee Drill" that I use all the time in the house and this one is very comparable. I can also use screw driver bits to install and remove screws. It is very versatile and doesn't require electricity or recharging.
