Econoco Commercial Tempered Glass Shelves, 12" x 24" (Pack of 5)

The local glass shop wanted about $25 each piece for a 12 x 24 plate glass. These are tempered and a little more than half the price. A great deal!

Very good stuff

I was looking for glass to cover the tops of my end tables. Prices for tempered glass are outrageous. I found this set of glasses for a great price and they look amazing. It was just what I was looking for and I even have extras if the others ever break.

These are INSANELY cheap. I don't mean they're badly made - because they're not. But the pricing is so low that they must have made a mistake or be involved in some complicated scheme or something.The shelves themselves are perfectly fine. I've had a couple sets in place for over a year, and not had the slightest problem with any of them. No cracks, chips, sharp edges, discoloration, or anything. The edges are reasonably smooth, and the shelves are perfectly uninteresting. (Pro tip: if you have shelves over your bed, making them clear really helps you locate things like your phone, glasses, or prescription drugs in the middle of the night.)The reason for five stars isn't their quality, which is just unexceptional. But the PRICE! How can they even afford to SHIP them, for that price? If I had anyplace left in my apartment to stick another set of 4' shelves, I'd buy another set. I'm almost thinking about buying some as stocking stuffers, although it would take some mighty big stockings.

I got 5 pieces of quality 3/16 inch (4.8 mm) thick crystal clear tempered glass that measure exactly 12 x 24 inches. The corners on the pieces I received had no noticeable rounded or radiused edges. The corner edge was knocked down just enough so as not to be sharp. There were no gouges, scratches, thin spots, all edges were properly smoothed. Each piece weighs 5 1/2 pounds.These came double boxed, totally styrofoam wrapped with each piece individually bagged in plastic and a thin layer of styrofoam between each piece. Nice tight packaging.How the seller can offer this product at this price is beyond me. This is a true steal for the money. I am using these to make shelving units for our sun room.To those who are not aware, never try to cut or drill tempered glass, these are meant to be used as is.

Perfect replacement for the Harbor Freight blast cabinet. Edges were beveled. Original HF glass was not. Extremely well packaged. Highly recommended.

First the package was delivered two days early and it was well sealed, protected, and noted on the box. Second, I got FIVE pieces for an insanely low price. When you buy these at the large stores...AHEM, you are paying $19.99/glass as a starting point. I wanted glass shelving for my bathroom renovation and this does it. We have purchased brackets to support this and can't wait to install. The glass itself is sturdy and the corners are beveled. We only wanted to do two shelves so having extras laying around isn't so bad.

I could not be more pleased. Exactly what I needed for my project. Was concerned that the pencil edge might not be smooth enough, but it is perfectly smooth. The price was great. As another reviewer said “we thought it was a pricing mistake”.
