First off, most of the reviews for this “lightning to hdmi cable” have nothing to do with this product. Most of the positive reviews for this item are actually for other products entirely. The seller probably did this on purpose as a bait and switch technique to fool people into thinking bad items are high quality. This item is a cheap foreign knockoff of an Apple product. I was only able to get the device to work for about 30-60 seconds at a time before the video would freeze up and I’d have to unplug the power connector from the item, change the input on my tv, then reconnect the power, and go back to the right input (just to clear the frozen image from the device’s memory). What an annoying piece of garbage. Don’t waste your time or money. Get a genuine item with real reviews.

First of all when I receive the adapters I connected right away and they didn’t work at all. It was just a black screen with a QR code. I didn’t know what to do. I found some information online and i decided to try. You have to download and app DrongCast next you need to see the QR code find the series it belongs. You can find the series by touching each one and see if they match whit your QR code. You need to download the update and connect the adapter, the app will guide you all the way. When it’s done you need to unplug the adapter wait a few seconds and connected again, the phone will ask you if you trust this terminal press yes and introduce your block code and that’s it!

This product does not work. I purchased 2 one for me and a co-worker and both of us had the same issue of it not working. The. It has you download some software which after my phone seems to have a virus. For the price I thought it was a good idea but I was wrong, stick with the original and don’t waste your time and money on this

Does what they are suppose to, take the video and transfer it to the big screen. Remember if it doesn’t connect to your tv you may need to plug your iPhone charger and cord into it and supply power to get the picture. Some tv’s do t need that and some do. Hope it helps.

I didn't realize it needed a power cord to work, which was not included with this adapter. But the adapter works fine with my mini projector and my TV. Haven't gotten it to work with my Dell laptop, though.

This is not plug and play item. Need to download QR code reader, EZCast app, update firmware, unplug and restart it. Initially will scattered a little bits. But it work.

I ended up sending it back, I could not get software to work. May have to spend for expensive apple product as this is definitely not original quality.

Cord did not work out of the box and was told it must be another issue. I tried 4 known good HDMI cords, 4 different phones and still no luck. I borrowed a neighbors genuine Apple cord and it worked fine. This tells me it is a faulty cable issue.
