I’ve tried plenty of toothpastes that leave my mouth tasting minty but don’t necessarily give me that genuinely clean feeling. This one is different. The gel texture foams nicely, the wintergreen flavor leaves my breath feeling fresh, and I like that it doesn’t feel overly harsh on my gums. My teeth feel noticeably smooth and clean after brushing, which is really what I care about most. I also appreciate that it’s SLS-free. It feels like a more gentle toothpaste without sacrificing that deep-clean feeling I want. It’s definitely more expensive than a basic tube of toothpaste, but I’ve been impressed enough with how my mouth feels after using it that I think it earns the five stars.

This is hands-down the best toothpaste for plaque removal. Taking a look at my pic, you can see how much I get every last drop out of the tube - Amazon let me know I’ve purchased this product 3 times. Yep, it’s pretty pricey, that is a fact. I get it when it’s on sale, because it is very worth it. It’s like a professional tooth cleaning in a tube. My dentist is wowed, and I like having something for my home routine that really works. A big tip to keep in mind: do not run it under the water once it’s on your toothbrush. It will melt away. Wet your toothbrush first, put on a small dab of tooth gel, and then brush. It breaks down the biofilm and plaque so that your brushing is far more effective. My gums are happy. Anyway please I beg of you do not ever discontinue this, I don’t ever want to be out of this amazing stuff.

Love this tooth gel!!!! Even though it is a smaller tube..you only use a pea size drop on your toothbrush so it will last you as long as other paste will..wintergreen taste is really nice and foams well...going to try other products like gum treatment and mouthwash...Just had dental cleaning and Dentist was very impressed with how little plaque and tartar was on my teeth and stated gums were less inflammed and receeding gum pockets have gotten better..give this a try you will not waste $$ on this one

My intent is to let you know that LivFresh won't produce the same "clean" feeling (as some negative reviews have complained). This is because it doesn't have abrasives to remove sticky residues (gummy bears, raisons, caramel, etc). It works by chelating the plaque ca ions (which cause the plaque to stick to your enamel) which makes it easier to flush the plaque out. LivFresh also leaves a light film on your teeth holding a small negative charge on your teeth which repels the bacteria which creates the plaque from attaching to the enamel. The protection lasts only as long as the film stays intact (typically around 2 to 4 hours) but fades faster if you drink things like soda, sports drinks, or acidic juices, which can break down the film and neutralize the charge. For complete oral hygiene you need to brush first with regular tooth (Colgate, Crest, etc) to first remove the sticky residues for LivFresh to add its additional layers of protection. Complete oral hygiene costs more because two products are required. This product is for users who have persistent plaque buildup, gum inflammation, or sensitivity that conventional pastes like Crest or Colgate don’t fully address. If you don't have persistent plaque build up then you may want to reconsider this addition. Livionex (who make LivFresh) is currently independent but are likely an aquistion target. So even if you like the product, like i do, it may soon dissappear and their IP incorporated into another product wherein you may not be given a choice about flouride. But then a more complete oral hygience may cost less (or not) :-) Disclaimer: I am not a bio-chemist, do not hold an interest in Livionex, nor do I have any real authoritive knowledge on their technology. I have used LivFresh toothpaste and mouthwash for 4 months. Both are worth every penny. This combination has removed the brown stains along the gum line of my lower front teeth that has been there for decades. Yes, I get my teeth cleaned every 6 months. I have always taken good care of my teeth. My teeth haven’t looked this good in decades (I’m 59). Unfortunately, I do not have before and after pictures; I never dreamt I would see such an improvement in my teeth!! Yes, the toothpaste tube is small but you only need a small amount to thoroughly brush your teeth.

Foaming - Toothpaste does not foam and lather great. Taste - The mint is very very light, think of low quality mint gum strength. Paste Quality - It’s very runny and thin, if you typically wet your paste before brushing you will wash it right off your toothbrush. Bottle size - this is a travel appropriately sized bottle. Very small for the price. Breath freshness - This does give a clean mouth feeling. The mint flavor is extremely subtle and light. Packaging - Packaging is on par with all other store bought brands the tube feels very soft and flexible I’m sure it would pop if squished. Would I buy again ? Hmmm I don’t think so.. the price is far from acceptable for the quantity of product you get.

I bought the wintergreen flavor which is a mild flavor, not overpowering as I find most toothpastes to be. I have a sore in my mouth which is not irritated by this product. The gel foams and cleans well using half the amount of toothpaste I usually use. In fact, it cleans so well it feels like I've just been to the dentist to have my teeth cleaned.

I would’ve given this a five star if it didn’t have the blue dye in it I’ve bought the peppermint non-foaming before and I loved it. I guess I accidentally bought the wintergreen foaming, which is fine cause the mint. I have a tongue issue and mint burns pre-cancerous ulcer I have on my tongue so I have to be very careful. Dental hygiene is very important to keep this from turning to cancer so my teeth have never felt better with the previous purchase and I thought I would try a foaming one and non-mint even though wintergreen is probably minty, but I checked the ingredients side-by-side and this one had a food coloring in it brilliant blue something something we don’t in our food anymore this is getting very important to a lot of people in our country. Stop putting fake stuff in our food our products. Other than that, this product is amazing and your teeth will not feel fuzzy in the morning. They look clean when I go have my cleanings my dentist like well we shouldn’t even schedule you for cleanings. Will still do a check up and clean if needed, but it is not needed but great product get the dye out.

GUYS?? I realized this product was pricey and quite small for the price, too. I was so worried it would be like ANY other toothpaste just ripping you off but NO, not AT ALL. I have NEVER seen whitening like this done simply from toothpaste and no procedure. The silly gel-like consistency is very nice, the flavour is NOT intense and burning like other toothpastes causing dryness, but it’s still fresh. This is the first time I brushed and flossed my teeth with ZERO bleeding from the gums. The product is pricey, but it’s nowhere near pricey compared to teeth whitening services. As someone who has chronic dry mouth from medication which leads to yellow teeth, mouth plaque build-up, and cavities NO MATTER what I do, this toothpaste seems to solve EVERY possible issue someone could have with their teeth and gums. No one is pressuring me to write this review, it is sincere and genuine, I don’t want ANYONE missing out on this.
