Works to transcode RT2x to OSSC
Works perfectly for simple transcoding of digital 480i/240p (from retrotink2x) to analog RGBHV to feed into OSSC! (In combination with a mini HDMI adapter). I can’t comment on the impact it might have on image quality, but it looks very good, even with a 6 ft VGA cable run. (shorter analog links are usually better)I cannot speak to how it will handle higher resolutions. Generally speaking, higher resolution requires higher power input to the transcoder, so a device that supports an external power supply is suggested.

Doesn't work
For what I am trying to use it for it doesn't look like it works. Using it on a Mac Mini but I am not receiving a signal from the computer. Checked the system from the shell and it doesn't detect a monitor being connected. I have to assume there is a problem with the device or compatibility with the computer.

Doesn’t work at all, plug vga into adapter, no video, plug vga into laptop video.

I have just one problem with it my VGA cord won't stay in the adapter but nothing tape can't fix.
