S.R. Smith 68-209-8362 Flyte-Deck II Stand with 6-Foot Frontier III Diving Board, White

A great replacement product.

May as well placed a rock to dive from. This board has ZERO give/spring. It was expensive and then he cost of my contractor to install.

I purchased this diving board to replace one that was about 16 years old. It was same brand and size. Has served us well but it was beginning to deteriorate. Love the new one. Easy to install and works like a charm. SR Smith was very helpful in assisting in ordering the right board and stand.

I'm not wowwed but it's fine. Haven't had any problems other than my children scraping their feet and legs to bleeding b/c the surface is SO abrasive. I know it has to be slip resistant but geez. My kids have now learned to be more careful. Very little give whatsoever. But it is only a 6footer so I didn't expect a spring board :)

The instructions read to drill 4.5 inches down. If I did that I would not have had enough thread to fully catch the nuts. I put the hardware together and slipped through the base, then marked them. I drilled to that depth and followed all other directions. The take-up of the lock and flat washers are significant plus the depth of the nut itself. Besides that awesome replacement and awesome anchor kit (bought separately for about $220).

The board and stand were to replace an old existing board. Unfortunately there was no option to purchase a replacement system of anchor bolts. The bolts furnished were welded together in a triangle pattern which was made to be installed before the pool deck was completed. The only way to use it was to remove a section of the pool deck, install the bolt rig and repour a section of the deck. After the new stand arrived I found they did offer another anchor system for $200 extra that could be used when the deck was already in place. I wish they had made that clear before I paid for the unusable anchor system. Rather than pay an additional $200 for 3 bolts and some high strength epoxy I cut off & ground down the rebar they had welded to the bolts. I bought a tube of high strength anchoring epoxt at Lowe's and used the bolts for a total extra cost of $25.00 total.

I rarely write reviews, and even more rarely negative reviews but this zero bounce is almost dangerous. People anticipate a board that will flex, this doesn’t so it’s jarring to the body when it doesn’t. Very disappointed because with the price tag, and effort to install now we’ll have to uninstall, repackage, send back and find a better board with spring, wait for new board and then reinstall. What a hassle. Now I see others have the same feedback. Wish I would’ve read the reviews more closely.

Haven’t used it yet but they installed it easily and looks good! Saved almost $1K by buying the base and board together on Amazon and only having to pay for installation.
