JBL Professional MTC-2P Wall Mount Kit works great for my Control 1 monitors. Great find.

I bought this kit to hang some speakers out doors. It worked great. Easy to use and very sturdy.

Arrived with one of the two mounts missing.

These are exactly what i needed for my JBL speakers. I was worried about cracking the plastic, but the held strong and my speakers look great.

Almost a great product... but there are several points where this product proves to be too fragile. #1 - You have to snap fit the round ball join into the socket after it is installed in the wall. Do this only once. Practicing how the unit goes together will weaken the fingers on the ball joint and cause later failures. #2 - Don't use the tightening rod. Very little torque will cause socket that the rod inserts into to crack. If you do use the tightening rod, limit yourself to a 1/4 turn. Recommendation: You need one person with strong hands to tighten down the ring w/o using the tool. You also need to minimize the amount of adjustment going on, so have a 2nd person that is available to tell you if you have the speaker oriented properly. JBL did a fantastic job with the speakers themselves - I just wish these mounting kits where made of a more durable plastic. If JBL reads this, consider giving the rings a more knobby profile and forgo the tightening rod altogether.

These brackets are the same as the ones packed in with the Control 1 pro speakers. You get the full kit with wall plates, screw/ball fitting for speakers, plus something else I guess for a powered variant of the speaker. I made the mistake of over-tightening the ring before and the plastic reciptical broke on the wall plate part. The wall plugs obviously still align for the replacement so easy to replace. I didn't over tighten this time but the speakers are quite heavy and droop downwards. So I just put a tennis ball between each one and the wall which does the job in propping them up! I still prefer this to using shelves.
