We’re using it in an unconventional manner and it works well. We needed a way to block the wall outlet and tv wires from the baby and I didn’t want something that looked completely obnoxious like a plank of wood. It’s hardly gonna earn us a spot in next month’s issue of Home and Garden, but it’s one less spot the baby can get herself hurt.

Recently, I refinished my third grade teacher's very old oak desk for my office area at home. The oak top is beautiful, and I wanted to protect it. I really wanted glass, but with the 29"x41" top measurement, glass would have been very heavy. With this product, however, I have the look of glass without the weight. Cutting the thick, clear vinyl was pretty easy; I used my roller cutter and the special cutting boards that I use to cut my sewing fabrics. Then I used a regular pair of utility scissors to round the two back corners to match the front. It looks GREAT! I did put two off-brand sticky notes on the vinyl top and later found two unusual smudges when I removed the stickies. They rubbed out with a moist soft cloth. Overall, GREAT product!

I purchased the thick PVC Clear table protector, tablecloth because for some reason my family cannot refrain from causing damage to my beautiful, expensive, real wood high top kitchen table. This is the second table I’ve purchased due to the first one being damaged with scratches, dents, dings really you name it. To save my new table from same fate, I placed an ill fitted too small square of glass, it was heavy, tough to deal with and the parts not covered got damaged. I tried coasters that very bluntly relay the message, however my family may not be good at reading. Then I found the PVC Clear Table Protector, I was so excited, I was able to pick the size I needed with room to make adjustments, it came very quick and I simply heated it up to flatten it! The tablecloth is a thick, durable plastic, so if any thing gets dropped on the table it doesn’t ding it!!!! What makes this so amazing is it’s lightweight, simple to clean, waterproof, resists heat and is easy to move! The price is great if you’ve ever bought glass for a table or dresser top then you know it’s expensive! Unlike real glass that gets scratched, can chip or break and loose its luster after time the PVC protector is free from all of that! It looks absolutely beautiful and it’s truly brilliant! I’ve attached pictures to show how lovely it is! Every piece of furniture I own with vulnerable surfaces will be getting the PVC Tablecloth Cover treatment! *The 1st pic shows my piece of too small glass under the protector* and *The 2nd pic shows just the PVC on my table*. (The lighting isn’t great as its winter and always dark but even so the shine and beauty shows through!)

Perfect fit! Very thick clear plastic cover has helped me to love my table again. Came with double sided clear Sticky stuff to hold in place I plan to use hair dryer to help it straighten out a bit more. Very satisfied. My table has crumb catching grooves and I was considering replacing it since we now have a messy toddler grandson but now I don’t have to! It was perfectly cut to size.

Great product. I got it to use as a screen protector for a Table-Top Gaming television. I rolled it and left it to flatten under a rug for a day or two and it was right as rain. Very thick and durable, easily wiped down to clean. 10/10

Other than the product sticking together when you try to unroll it, which resulted in a very small scratch on the surface, I would have given this a 5 star rating.We purchased a metal patio table that had a woodgrain finish painted on it. We noticed the display model in the store had several scratches that cut through the faux woodgrain finish down to the metal. It looked like someone had scratched it with a ring or other piece of jewelry. So, we knew when we purchased the table that we would have to either keep a tablecloth on it all the time or have a piece of acrylic cut to fit the top of it for protection.I saw this and knew it was the solution to our problem. I didn't like the tablecloth we were using because I wanted to see the woodgrain finish beneath. We were able to order this to fit the exact tabletop dimensions like a custom cut piece or acrylic would fit it. This product is crystal clear and high gloss. It looks like glass on the tabletop. It is high quality in that it is heavy and thick enough not to slide out of place or blow off in the wind on our covered patio. It is extremely easy to wipe of with Windex and a soft, lint free cloth or paper towel.For the money, it can't be beaten. Just be careful unrolling it so that that the top surface does not stick to the bottom surface above it. A liner between the rolled layers would have resolved this issue, but then someone would probably complain about having to dispose of the paper or tissue liner.Other than the small scratch, this would have been a 5 star!

Nice and thick. Perfect sizing. I've tried other covers elsewhere and they were too thin and kept bubbling. This one is clear and shows my table nicely. The clear sticky thing that comes with it is perfect too. It's invisible once it goes on and it holds the cover to prevent from sliding. Thanks, just what I needed.

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  I was so tired of washing tablecloths. We have 5 children and this is our only table. I also like being able to see the wood, and not always having its beauty covered. Custom glass tops for a 48 x 96 table would be too costly, so I tried this. It had suggestions for getting the roll flat. I tried a hair dryer, but it didn't work. So I placed a king size flat sheet over it, and ironed it about 30 minutes, with a high setting, and that worked pretty well. It is great to see the beauty of the wood and just wipe it clean. My only issue is getting the edges down. It comes with glue buttons, but they are very visible under the topper. That is the only reason I didn't give it five stars.

Perfect for what I was looking for, had to cut a little bit off with a exacto knife, looks nice and will keep my table perfectly clean. However Spaghetti sauce does stain it sadly won't last as long as I had intended for the price.

I love the thickness of this plastic cover, it is very easy to maintain. Great quality!

Very good quality, it is thick and clear. Fits my table very well. Highly recommended for someone looking for an alternative to a glass to protect their furniture.
