inTankMedia Basket for JBJ Nano Cube 28, Nano Cube 28 LED, Nano Cube WiFi

Bought a used nano cube that was sold without the basket. Considered buying the stock basket but went with this instead. More than happy with the product. Holds plenty of media and is easy to take out and clean/replace all media without making a mess. Plastic is very high quality and feels sturdy. Packaging was protective without being wasteful and it shipped and arrived quickly and on time.100% recommend for nano cubers.For the record. My current set up is course sponge in the top compartment, bonded floss sponge in 2, and purigen on the bottom. Water is crystsl clear. If need be, you can easily have a thinner block of course sponge and put both floss and course in the top, carbon on the middle, and purigen on the bottom. The large levels make it very easy to personalize your filter media.

The basket works well but isn't exceptional. I've noticed the flow is a bit slow which has caused me to re-calibrate my ATO. I maybe grab the dremel and make some of those holes bigger or add some new ones. I do recommend the filter. I use filter floss on the top, live rock in the middle, and the bottom has a carbon bag tied to the middle shelf. If they fixed the small issue of flow it would be perfect. Expensive as can be, but a good well built in America product. That means something to a lot of us.

See that OEM filter box that JBJ installed? Um yeah, just throw it in the recycle bin, it sucks, and you'll have nutrient issues. Instead get the InTank Media Basket along with a roll of 2-ply water filter to make your own, then some carbon/GFO/SeaChem/Etc, and install to watch the magic! Oh yeah, get yourself a CPR Aquatics small hang on back refugium, fill up properly, and viola' less water changes!

The first unit came in broken, but Amazon/seller had a new one sent ASAP. It was easy to install in the back of my bio cube.

This is a great product but it didn’t work for my tank. i removed the hood from my JBJ nano 28 gallon to use a AI 16HD prime and AI bracket. The clamp on the bracket prevents the media basket from fitting.I called the vendor and they were more than helpful but could not provide a solution. Sadly, I had to return it.

Looks fancy but it’s too small for my jbj 28 nano middle back chamber. It still does the job but a bit pricey for what it’s designed to do. Could get away with using an egg crate to build something similar to do the job if you want something cheap.

Love this basket! I put Chemi Pure Elite 11.4 oz bag at the bottom, purigen & phosguard in the center, and filter floss on top. Fits perfectly in my 28 gallon JBJ Nano Cube. Easy to install and removed. Arrived in perfect condition.

This basket is 3-4 inches taller than the stock basket. It fits perfectly and prevent particles and water from skipping the filtration process. You can add more carbon and rubble and the filter floss section is the perfect size for skimming but not wasting floss. If you have a JBJ 28 do yourself a big favor get this basket.
