K Source MK150 Windshield Mounting Bracket (for RM1500, 2 pcs)

Exactly what I needed to mount a rear camera monitor in place of my rear view mirror on our Ford E450 chassis RV.

Do they work? Yes. Are they good enough? Yes, barely. Are they good? No, they are cheap Chinese metal that look like a quality product, but are just cheap. I installed the nut on the threaded end with a 3/8" socket wrench, should have used a 1/4" stubby. Just by hand holding the unit I was able to snap the threaded end clean off with a little torque. The 'metal' on the inside looks like a lava rock (full of holes) and is generally what is referred to Chinesium. Good thing it comes with 2 in the package. It's almost like they expect you to break one since nobody needs two of these in a car. I was hoping to keep a second for a spare, had no idea I would need it on the first day. Do yourself a favor and rely on Loctite instead of torque to hold the nut/bolt in place.

These are very strong, you need 2 hands to adjust the angle being that its so stiff which is great so that it doesnt move byitself.

It didnt come with glue, it would have been nice if it had some type of template something to put on the window. I haven't found any glue adhesive that will hold up to heat inside the car. I don't want to use the alternative mounting method which is to drill into the headliner.

Worked out perfectly for mounting dash cam to front mirror.

Works well for mounting a back up Cera monitor, super stiff, difficult to articulate but better than suction cup mounts

Can't hold heavy mirror. Hinges are weak.
