Smaller diameter, but working for my purposes.
Just what i needed to replace a factory provided cable for a power supply that arrived a little short. I'm not all that familiar with all of the power cord standards out there, but noticed this cord is quite a bit smaller in diameter than 3 other 14 AWG cords I have at home and had used for reference. I was originally concerned with heat dissipation, but with the short distance I'm running, and also at a lower load than I had determined as max, cable seems cool to the touch and working just fine.

They do what they're supposed to do. I like the extra length. Decent price.
They work. Hard to say much more about what is essentially an extension cord. They are a bit stiff, and if you've had them curled in a case before using, they want to keep the kinks and curls of their stored position. Not much you can do about it, especially since it's 14 gauge wire (good, because of the length) rather than the common 16 Gauge, which is a bit thinner. I use them on my Eon speakers, which are self-powered and need to be plugged into 110-120 house current. When they are mounted six to eight feet above the deck, the six-foot original equipment cords often don't reach the floor, let alone an outlet. Even if these don't quite reach the outlet, you don't have extension cord sockets hanging half-way up the pole, since these will reach at least to the floor.

Thick, but good
I probably should have expected this, but the cable is very thick. It can be difficult to weave it along small corner and stick it in places. However it works quite nicely with my ceiling mounted projector. Both ends fit in their accorded receptacles without any difficulty.

Great 'upgrade' power cords for the price!
These power cables are exceedingly nice for the price. They plug in on the IEC side very firmly, unlike some audio-specific expensive power cords I tried previously. They sound great, although there are some specific technical reasons why a power cord does not really affect the sound other than you need an adequate gauge, especially for good bass. My desktop headphone amp and DAC came with cheapy 18 gauge power cords so I swapped these 14AWG ones in. The sound did improve, but beyond sufficient gauge and a good UL listed design, you do not need anything higher in a power cord. These are nicely designed, quite flexible, sturdy and should last a lifetime.Recommended!

This cable isn't fat.. It's just big boned..
I actually ordered the cheaper 18awg cable that was less than half the price of this here on amazon, then read a few reviews saying that particular 18awg cable was getting hot, or had even burned in places. That scared me enough to cancel the order for the 18awg and order this 14awg. This is much thicker than your standard PC power cable. You pull it out of the package and you can tell it's beefy. But still very flexible.I bought it to use on a projector. Which isn't that high of wattage, but so glad I bought this cable over the cheaper and thinner 14awg and risking it. The $8 more I paid for this over the 18awg one is worth the security and peice of mind.

Got the cord quick like usual. My only issue is in the cord ...
Got the cord quick like usual. My only issue is in the cord itself I expected it say what gauge wire and how many. But what it says is 3/1mm. Instead of 3/14. Not that the inspector is going to check this one but wonโt be able to order this one for future jobs due to that. Glad I only ordered one.

Long power cable for power-hungry PC
I have one of these power cables running a PC that I intend to upgrade shortly to draw over 1KW. The common 18AWG cable I had before got a little warm (and the PC draws less than 750W now), but this 14AWG cable does not seem to do that. I will revise this if I see problems once I have the PC upgraded to its planned level.Update: Works fine with no noticeable cable warming even with the system upgraded where it can draw 1KW continuous and surge to a bit more than that.

Works as advertised
What can I say about this cable other than it works as advertised. I was a little worried because I am currently in Kuwait and the voltage is 220v here vs. the 110v in the US. So I thought maybe this cable would get hot, but no worries at all. In fact this cable is much thicker than my original power cable for my projector and works just fine. I decided to get this cable for my projector rather than run an extension cord from the ceiling. So now I have a much cleaner install with only this power cable and a 50' Blue rigger HDMI cable. These two paired together made the installation of my projector on the ceiling a breez..
