Works fine with older Cisco Call Manager
We've purchased 6 of these over the last couple months, 2 at a time, from Core 4 Solutions. Ship time was a couple day, the phones and all attachments and packaging were new and unspoiled. Although our Cisco phone system is older, Call Manager 8.5, the phones program and work fine. The firmware is newer than what our system pushes out, but the phones don't seem to mind.

Nice phones, but read the fine print they don't come with power cords, ridiculous....for this price? Going with a different brand

phone needs an activation code, and YOU NEED a Cisco Account to do it
Do not buy this phone. Upon power up it asks for an Activation Code. I called Cisco and they said to provide the activation code, I needed to speak with the engineering department. To speak to the engineering department, they needed to set up a ticket, but to set up a ticket, you need to have an account contract or buy one. This is crazy. It's like buying a TV, then you need a separate contract with Sony to turn on your tv. Don't buy this Cisco IP phone if you don't have a corporate account with Cisco

The phone was sent with missing parts. I had to get 'approval' first to return. When I was granted approval, I had to return-ship at my own expense. Here is the real kicker - they then charged me a restocking fee of 5%. The entire experience was frustrating and cost me money. I wish someone would have warned me that as a customer - I do not matter.
