Charlotte Thomas Amelie Toile Bed Set in Pink Double

Extremely happy with this purchase. I needed a superking cover but they are so expensive in the shops. I took a chance on believing the many positive reviews and bought this one by Charlotte Thomas. Main reasons I bought this duvet cover: Fantastic price, beautiful design, easy care, easy pop studs to do up at the bottom. It comes with 2 pillow cases although I bought matching extra ones. Feels very smooth and silky against the skin. The cat approves too!

I really love this duvet set. It’s a very pale shell pink and white. The fabric is polycotton but has the feel of a good quality cotton. I have washed this a few times and put it in the drier after. As long as you fold it carefully, smoothing the creases as you go, you don’t have to iron it. I would iron the pillowcases. It has soft opening metal poppers. I normally find that the poppers are hard to undo resulting in the popper coming off but I don’t think that will happen in this case.

This was to fit my new quilt as my other covers are all kingsize and the new quilt was superking size. I loved this cover as soon as I saw the real thing. The material mix would not have been my first choice but was the only option available and I liked both sides of the reversible cover and pillowcases. To my mind, this gives one cooler side for summer and one warm side for winter. Great! Fits beautifully, the poppers can be a little tricky to do up but stay together well, and I really like the difference this has made to the bedroom. Happy as it goes so far. I intend to return and add comments on washing at a later date as it has only had 1 wash to date.

Here are poppers instead of buttons and it is piped.looks expensive on the bed.needs ironing.

This is my perfect duvet set I have ever had. I love it so much I have 2 sets. The quality for the price is sensational. It's beautifully finished with piping a the fabric feel expensive to touch. It washes beautifully too.

Love everything about it. I hadnt bought anything but 100 % cotton bedding in years as some polycottons look and feel cheap and rough but took a chance with this polycotton and its so lovely and soft. It gives the look of Cabbages and Roses bedding which i could never afford and it gives the room a lovely soft feminine slightly shabby chic vibe.

So fresh looking. Can’t wait to see it on the bed. I had previously bought the green fern pillow cases to go with another duvet cover and was very impressed with the quality. So now that I need a new cover I chose this one and so pleased I have.

Beautiful, well made and looks lovely. I might get another one! I wish they did the same pattern in different colours.
