I go fishing at night and want these to walk about in the pitch black.I've tested them and the work really well - in the context of the price - you aren't gona be threading a needle with them on, but you can see plenty of great detail - far more than I expected.They fit really well and are comfortable and balanced to use. The strap adjusts well.You can't wear them with glasses which might be a problem for long-sighted users because while there is a focus knob on the lenses to make the LCD image quite sharm, you need to adjust your eyes to the screen - which isn't possible.One other bonus is that the pair of infra-red emitters on the front are roughly where a pair of eyes might be, and glow a really dull red, so you can freak people out by walking up to them :D

the product is as advertised . If i know now what i knew when ordering i would have gone for the next generation model. The product gives you good clear picture. Nothing wrong if you require it for spotting from a static position.Not suitable for when you wear glasses.

The reason I ever came across night vision goggles was because of the game modern warfare. So I was just intrigued to buy some.So I researched on different types of night vision and IR is the cheapest option by thousands, literally.I wasn’t planning to invade anywhere with them, only use them at home, so you will not be totally invisible by humans at least, as you can see two red ir lights. They are so dim though, that unless you are head on looking at someone, they won’t see them.Quality is good, it uses quality plastic, and the touch that I liked, was that the buttons were actually nice rubber and soft to press / non clicky. They weren’t just cheap plastic.You get a lot of value as it comes with an included head strap as well as a neck strap to be sure it won’t fall off you.Overall if you want night vision goggles that actually work in pitch black, and have a 1x perspective ( which means when you look through them, objects look the same distance away as if you were looking at them in person). If you wear glasses, don't bother with this item. You cannot focus the device with glasses off (i.e, there is no dioptre adjustment, as you have on traditional binoculars), but likewise with glasses on you cannot put the goggles against your face, even with small frames. You'll end up just holding the goggles several inches away from your face, meaning that you cannot see the screen very well as it bleeds light all around you, rather defeating the purpose. All in all, absolutely worthless for glasses-wearers.

Update *Quality was ok for first hour , then started having issues with the Screen going wrong when moving with it . The IR was useless and could only see up to 10meters max . When used out in the field it didn’t light up animals eyes very well .It felt very very cheap which is fair enough as it is however there are better digital night vision options out there .Sent back for a refund seller send refund no questions asked good customer service

For the money, I didn't expect much. It does work and the material quality was better than expected with a nice soft rubber moulding to fit onto your face nicely. However, the whole point of this to see things in the dark; the key word here being "see". Regrettably, the lens focusing your vision to the screen is nowhere near strong enough which means, to be able to focus without going cross-eyed, you have to hold the unit about a foot away from your face which completely ruins the functionality. The focus wheel does focus lens to sensor but not screen to eyes. Quite disappointed really and it's going back.

Very suprised at just how good this night vision set is for the price. Used it in the garden and could see clearly up to 60m or so. When walking around, I found it was better to zoom it to around 2x to prevent disorientation. All in all, very impressed and am looking forward to the summer when I intend to use it for watching wildlife.

I got these for night walks. They are hard to get used to while walking but I got the hang for it in the end. They have a good range, if you look at the person wearing them then you can see the red lights of the side. I think it's really handy you can charge they via usb and they have a good battery life. They only down side was mine were faulty so I sent them back and got a return. They fault was a black patch on the right side of the viewer
