Arrived fast and fits perfectly on our pit mix. We have had 2 other muzzles before this one but they tore up and never fit quite right. It’s made of very high quality metal which feels pretty resistant to any bending that may be caused from rough play. The padding for the top of the snout allows the muzzle to remain out of the eyes. Nothing appears to be a major rub point. He’s comfortable and we’re happy. I will say while it may not fit all pits the same, I would definitely recommend trying this muzzle first and saving yourself some potential headache. *Edit* After having for some time the muzzle has held up quite well, we did have one of the front bars break off of the muzzle. Nothing to do with the quality of the muzzle, just our pit managed to smack it into a wall repeatedly over time, damaging the welds. After removing the broken bar; the muzzle still remained very sturdy and we’ve been able to continue using it! Another thing was that we had a problem with rubbing below the eyes, this was a simple fix using a little bit of duct tape to cover up any rough parts that would rub. 5/5 stars still.

At first, I was a little unsure about this product, but it’s actually worked out really well. My dog doesn’t love it, but he doesn’t fight me when it’s time to put it on either. The quality feels great, and I’d definitely recommend it. I got it because my pitbull can sometimes get a bit rowdy with the neighborhood cats, and this gives me peace of mind knowing he won’t hurt anything

I have a 65 lb pit/husky mix, and this fits well. Long on the nose, so she would be able to drink and pant but probably not eat with this on which is good, because she loves to grab random food off the side of the road. Quality is excellent. Its adjustable on all sides, and the buckles are strong. The nose rest is soft and doesn't seem to bother my dog. The leather straps are a bit stiff, we'll give that time and use. After a test run, I did have to use wire cutters to cut out the center front bar because the structure made it very awkward to get treats to my dogs mouth, but once I filed the nubs down smooth, it was great!

Would buy again! Excellent fit for my Chow Chow. He took to it very easily as it is not too snug on his face. I have tried a couple other soft muzzles that he has pawed off successfully in the past. We have had an ongoing issue with neighbors keeping their dogs off leash throughout the day. This has kept us on edge with constant look outs before heading out for his walks. Not a “bad dog” muzzle — it’s a “my peace of mind when others forget their leashes” muzzle 🐾 Save yourself the anxiety with an unpredictable world and control what you can: your home. Overnighting this item has made for a stress-free walk. Also solving the constant worry of him eating things tossed on the sidewalk. I am happy to have found the right product for my family.

Way to big

Bought this specifically for our 60lb staffie due to the size and pictures. It doesnt fit as advertised. It does fit our 90lb retriever very well however. So it's been given to a different dog.

I’m a first time foster of a 2 year old pittie, 85lbs. I have two current dogs including another female pittie who is territorial and I tried socializing but they both have high prey drives and I was scared because the foster doggo is a lot bigger than my smaller pittie. This was the first muzzle I tried after reading the review and I’m glad it was because it’s amazing. She can pant, drink, get treats and it’s comfortable and adjustable for her. It’s helped lower the anxiety in me and people who come over. I’ve now realized that my original pittie needs one as well in order to introduce them so I’m purchasing a second one for her. The biggest hurdle is the training part, they NEED to love their muzzles or it won’t work. So lots of treats and praise and putting her in the muzzle for fun happy times like walks and stuff has made it super easy. Following the instructions on YouTube videos on how to muzzle train, coupled with a sturdy muzzle I felt safe with, has made all the difference in the world. Now I can keep her here safely and she will have a high chance of a good life after training and socializing. This muzzle probably saved her life, people just feel safer with her in it, because she’s a big girl, and that changes everything. 5 stars
