Beautiful! Each piece is identical to the one next to it. Lightly brushed handles. The grip is better than most. They are heavy. You could dig in the garden and it would be hard to bend these. They are a lifetime investment you won't be sorry for. This is a hand me down. Your grandmothers set. And her mothers set. I see no reason they won't last 500 years. Best decision I ever made. Mikasa Satin loft comes with several huge spoons for cooking or serving. Both the drain type and plain dish em out type. Butter knife included and Meat fork as well. The artistry is in the simplicity of design. Great addition to any table they will sit well with any dishes placed next to. This is one of the easiest 5 stars I've ever given.

These are so comfortable to hold and clean so nicely. The eating part is shiny and the handles are satin so they look GREAT! But what I like best is how comfortable they are to use. Just the right size and diameter to hold. The quality is great so they are really worth the price!

My husband and I had been looking for just the right set of flatware to replace our old set, which, after 30 years, had become a bit the worse for wear. This set definitely does not disappoint. First of all, each piece is even prettier in person than they are in the pictures. The satin finish is very simple and very elegant- perfect for everyday use, but "dressy" enough for a dinner party. Second, they feel so nice to hold. They are a nice weight and are well-balanced- you can feel the quality in each piece. Third, after running them through the dishwasher, they held up beautifully. I will say that if you have hard water like I do, you may want to use a soft towel to give them a quick buffing before putting them away, but it took very little effort to make them shine. Mikasa makes a very quality product, and at this price, I would not think twice. We like them so much that we immediately ordered the matching steak knives and can't wait to use them for our Thanksgiving dinner!

I love the look and feel of these. They are the perfect weight size. Definitely sturdy. Love the shine of the silver. Goes through the dishwasher with no issues.

This set is absolutely awesome! The feel of the weight of each piece in your hand makes a statement. The size of each piece is substantial. The size is almost medieval -lol. The look is clean and bold as well as the color which is eye catching. I put all pieces in the dishwasher as I wanted to wash them before use and they came out looking great. I purchased a new bamboo kitchen drawer organizer and the look is great. The price was good and they seem to go well with everything else in my kitchen. I am looking forward to having company and getting some feedback. I think they are worth every penny.

We were ready for new flatware, and I did extensive research on options. We were looking for a simple, clean look; a satin finish; and not super expensive. This Mikasa set seemed to fit the bill and had many good reviews, showing up on "best flatware" lists. I really like the look and feel of the pieces. It feels like a real upgrade from my 15+ year old set. However, there are a few issues: 1) Unfortunately small spots of rust began showing up on a couple of knives within 6 weeks. So we have resigned outselves to not putting the knives in the dishwasher. To prevent further rust, we immediately hand wash and dry the knives. 2) The teaspoons are small compared to the larger size of the other pieces. They are short--the length of a coffee spoon rather than a traditional teaspoon. We've gotten used to it, but it would have been great if they were slightly bigger and longer. 3) We got the satin finish in hopes that it wouldn't show fingerprints as much as our old shiny flatware. Unfortunately, that is not the case (and is probably the case for all satin-finish flatware). All that being said, we like them and they are good quality for the price.

We tried both this set and the Oneida Moda set. They are both excellent sets and it was a difficult choice. We loved them both. In the end, after splitting a few hairs, we selected the Moda set primarily due to what we felt was its more interesting pattern.As an FYI, the Mikasa pieces are significantly larger than what might be considered a typical set. That's not a criticism - just a heads up. The pieces are on the large size. One other differentiating factor worth noting is that the corners on the Oneida handles are more rounded; which we felt was a bit more comfortable. As noted, it was a tough decision and the Mikasa set is a 5 star product as well. Comfortable in hand. Good weight. Tablespoon depth stopped just before being too deep. The whole set has impressed me. (But, to be honest, I've never had a nice set of flatware before. So maybe I'm easily impressed.) Still, I won't hesitate to recommend this set. The finish is very nice. Seem extremely well made.

Beautiful set. It is bigger than expected but it’s beautiful. They do not show finger prints or water marks. Great for a daily use set.

This flatware is beautiful--it sparkles. The textured handle feels good in the hand. Each piece is well balanced--not too light, not too heavy. The knife is serrated on one side and cuts meat well. My only criticism is that I find the teaspoon a bit large. These are still very new so I've no long-term experience with them, but so far I am extremely pleased.

Flatware set very well finished. Weight in hand feels very good. Recommended.

I have had this cutlery for about 3 weeks now! I loved them when they arrived but they are now starting to loose their finish which is causing rust to happen. I would not recommend them for the price they cost.

Very classy heavy flatware. Looks good too and appears to be very well made.
