It made my day
Regardless of what some people may think, water theft is not a victim-less crime. The gardeners at my townhouse community would use my faucet on a regular basis...without asking!! I already pay an HOA fee but now they think I will pay for their watering needs!!??!! No way! I put the lock on my faucet the other day. It was very easy to apply. Then I waited for the gardener...I'll just call him Mr. Gardener. I peaked through the blinds in my living room window and listened to the roar of lawnmowers that grew louder and louder. I knew Mr. Gardener would soon arrive. Suddenly, there he was in dark green coveralls approaching my townhouse with laser focus. He only wanted one thing. In some parts, they like to call it wet gold. But I refer to it as.....MY water. Mr. Gardener placed his old dusty plastic bucket under MY faucet with anticipation and turned MY faucet handle. But nothing came out. He had the look of confusion. He had the look of defeat. My entire being was filled with satisfaction. You know, the kind of feeling you get when you finally finish a difficult task and take a step back to look at all your hard work with pride. Yeah, that was me at that very moment. Now I must admit that I thought the lock itself would serve as a deterrent especially for someone in his profession, but Mr. Gardener was relentless. He still tried to steal my wet gold! But he finally realized that he was no match for The FaucetLock II flow lock system and instead went to my annoying neighbor's faucet and filled the bucket with water. That was the icing on the cake. So I highly recommend this lock to protect your valuable wet gold. Just place it on your faucet... and let the adventures begin. Inspired by a true story.

Best faucet locks for a great price
Extremely fast delivery. I purchased two of these locks for the front and back outside faucets. I came home from work one morning and my mother noticed that the front faucet was steadily dripping. I tried the knob and had to turn it off. I don't understand why anyone would take it upon themselves to use it as if its theirs and then leave the water on. And, I don't think it was children in this case. I think it was irresponsible adults who thought they were getting away with something. Well, after that I researched around to find a good lock I could use on the faucets. I chose these locks because I liked the idea of having unique use of the magnetic keys. I also liked the simple, yet stylish design. They don't look like locks at all. They look like an accessory outside in the front and back of the house. It just looks like a knob to turn, so it actually makes the faucet look more appealing to try. They are also made of metal and heavy. The locks are better than advertised. I want to be able to use the faucets in the spring when I start working in the yard so I just hope taking the locks off is as easy as it was putting them on.

Great idea, cheaply made
Initially I thought the construction was of the Faucet Lock II was quite good. It was easy to install and looked nice. It was on my faucet for 3 months before I had to remove it to connect a hose. I placed the key in the Faucet Lock II and began to unscrew it. I instantly heard a crunch and grinding noise and the item was no longer unscrewing but just rotating. I had to disassemble the item just to get it off my faucet. This item was only in use for 3 months during dry weather and broke the first time went to remove it. The idea is great but the locking mechanism is cheaply made. I wouldn't recommend this item.

Quality locks that will last
Purchased a few of these magnetic hose bibb/faucet locks to secure my garden faucets. These locks are made of powder coated aluminum, made to last a very long time, will not rust. The magnets that are used inside are the extremely powerful and permanent, rare earth magnets. Each lock comes with two magnetic keys; keys have magnets encased inside plastic sheath for durability and protection. When the magnetic/plastic key is inserted into the side of the FaucetLock II key hole, the magnetic key triggers the earth magnets inside the lock to join the free spinning thread part to the outside powder coated casing, thus allowing the entire lock to rotate to lock/unlock onto the thread of the faucet. Without the key, the aluminum internal female thread stays secure to the hose bibb male thread, while the outside powder coated casing spins freely. There's a rubber stopper at the bottom of the lock that seals in the water from the faucet. Once the lock is hand tightened to the hose bibb, not a single drop of water will come out even with the faucet turned all the way to full. I can rest knowing nobody will take my water without me knowing! I also like the smooth look of these faucet locks, blending in with my garden. It's so small and cleverly designed, it looks like it's not a lock when looking from a distance. Only fault I found was the key holes were a little sharp on the edges, may cut the fingers of little kids playing with it if they're not careful. I filed the edges of the key hole down to taper them. Need to taper the edges for future locks that are sold.

Flow Security Systems...Lock it down!
Our work facility has several hose bibs around the building. Unfortunately, we have had issues with people randomly using our water and not shutting the valves off completely. I found these little beauties on Amazon and they did the trick. Easy to install, just follow the directions. The key slides into the cover and allows you to fasten the fitting to the threaded nozzle. Take the key out and the cap will not unscrew. Genius! I'm getting a couple more for my own use. It works like a charm.

Does the job
Easy to use. I wouldn't consider it highly secure, but it gets the job done. Using it in a condo complex. There is a hose bib on our meter that is accessible to everyone. Found neighbors using it as well as the HOA using it (without asking or remembering) on a number of occasions. This put an end to all of it at a reasonable price.

Don"t buy
Do not buy this lock for your outside faucet because once you lock it wont come off if you leave it locked for a long time. Took forever to get the lock off after that i thru it out. its crap.

Good to deny other's access to your water. And unfortunately to deny yourself as well.
We found it very difficult to unlock when we needed to use it.
