MATEIN Travel Laptop Backpack, 17 Inch TSA Approved Carry On Work Bag

I've had this bag for nearly three years now, and it's been holding up very well. I use it as my laptop bag for work, and it's made pretty well and has a lot of storage compartment, and it looks nice. The price is also very good for the quality of product you're getting.

For the price paid, this is an excellent, practical backpack with plenty of room for large laptops and many other accessories. Plenty of interior and exterior pockets for storage of personal items. Good quality zippers. Straps are comfortable around shoulders and easy to adjust. Handle on top is a nice feature. Solid black looks good and should be easy to clean if it ever gets dirty. I use this backpack for work... but it would also be ideal for school or travel. Highly recommended for those who want a quality backpack without having to pay the hefty price of a Jansport or North Face backpack.

I bought this bag because I have picked up on my traveling and wanted to get every last inch from that plane that is allowable since all these airlines have to rip all of us off. I did my research to maximize the size of the bag to be in compliance. I saw this bag and a few others. I was going back and fourth between several bags. This one had an advantage of having the charger attached to the back so the battery can remain inside the bag along with a few others that I was looking at. Ok now to the nitty gritty of what you are looking for. This is based on my most recent trip to Cin, OH for a concert on 5/24/2025. Durability: This bag passed with flying colors. When you first pull it out of the packaging, it feels like a regular bagpack you buy at Walmart. Once upon taking a closer look, you can feel and see the great quality in the materials and manufacturing. Size: Size was great. It met all the size specs of the dumb airline rules. They try to make money off of us any way they can so size is very important to have a personal item with you without getting charged for it. Versatility: Well this one is up in the air still. Maybe my trip to Mexico next week might shed better light. It is definitely a bag you can use for the plane but can also use for local trips like hiking or camping. The downfall of this is the straps. The straps could have been a bit more comfy but overall good. The one thing this bag is missing and to me is very important, especially when carrying a bag around all day, is the lower center strap that helps support around your stomach/back area. Pocket area on this bag is crazy. I thought it would have a couple a spots for different items. This has pockets galore. You can find a pocket for just about anything you wan or need (legally of course). Money, money, money.... The value for this bag can not be unbeat. I guess let me explain a bit why I say that. When comparing different bags with similar options and reviews several did stand out. This one made it to my top 3. Bouncing back and fourth all over the place I went back to this bag. Low and behold, ON SALE 50% off. PFT......... Sold!

I've had this bag for two years now and I love it. I primarily use for commuting to work with my laptop. Ample pockets, it's comfortable and can hold a lot. The side mesh pockets are deep enough to hold my owala. I really like how it's soft and flexible. I had the gray one before, which I also liked but it's a bit more stiff and structured than the light blue one...I prefer the feel of the light blue one. I'm planning to buy another one for personal use. I took a star off because I found out the hard way that the zippers on the two big compartments come apart VERY easily (this did not happen on the gray MATEIN backpack). I was walking from my office to the train station and the biggest compartment had come 3/4s of the way open. I had to buy zipper locking clips to ensure they stay closed. But otherwise, still very happy with this purchase.

This backpack is well made and so far it’s holding up well. There’s plenty of room in the various pockets and my laptop fits nicely in the laptop pocket. The backspace looks great, the straps are easy to adjust and use. There is also some water resistance from the soft materials which is perfect for my tech I keep inside.

I like this backpack! 17" laptop fits perfectly, and has enough room for the clothing I need to take on my short trips. Construction is solid. Zippers are solid. I don't know what TSA approved means, but they didn't tackle me, so 10/10. Makes a nice bag for motorcycle riding also. You have to pull the straps to make it ride high as possible so it doesn't hit the seat but worked for me on a 50 mile ride like it wasn't there.

This item exceeded my expectations. I wanted a backpack that would contain my laptop securely since I was sick of carrying a backpack and my laptop back. My former backpack was a little larger so I was worried things wouldn't fit in here. But to my surprise, everything fit, including the laptop, WITH ROOM REMAINING. I couldn't be happier with the product and how easy it is to use. There are more dividers and pockets allowing me to keep things separated much better. The price point was great too. It feels of quality as well. The charging USB is a nice touch too. I did spill coffee on it one day, and it wiped right off, so that's great as well!

Excellent! Spacious and durable. I have this as a fits to my SIL who travels a lot. It is now the only bag she travels with.

Plecak zapakowany w przesyłce próżniowej. Był bardzo sprasowany i płaski. Po wyjęciu z opakowania jest bardzo pognieciony. Wewnątrz przegrody i kieszenie są obwieszone. Plecak jest mało sztywny i w sposób umiarkowany chroni komputer. Czy kupiłbym drugi raz ten plecak? Napewno NIE.

Really happy with this backpack. It’s lightweight, sturdy, and has plenty of space for daily essentials. Comfortable to wear and well organised inside. Great value and ideal for everyday use or travel.
