Does anyone know the shelf life on the ground beef? I ordered the chicken when I read one review that mentioned the shelf life was five years-Thanks

I ordered mine in Jan 2020. The best by date is 12/2024. So at least 5 years.

how many cans in a case, if you order 12 from amazon they are loose in a box, means dented by the time you get them?

I purchased 10 cans, they came in a box that would have held 40 ! Half of them dented... seller would not respond.

Yes it tastes good. We keep it in our emergency stash and we also have used it just like you would fresh ground beef.We have used it in sloppy joes and just a heat and eat along with rice.Even my grand kids could not tell the difference. It is good in chili and even in goulash.

Can you make a burger with it?

I use it for sloppy joes taco and beef and bean stew as well as hamburger helper mix. You may be able to mix a thick cheese with rice to make a paddy or mashed potatoes and egg or cheese but all of these and the others offered will leave a bready starchy burger.
