**Q: Can you get replacement pads for this?**
A: I believe so.

**Q: can you wear a show with this brace on?  thank you.**
A: Some shoes. I can wear mine with running shoes because they are cut lower around the ankle bone and hiking boots because you can fit it under them and lace them up for more support, but there are shoes that hit it right at the edge and are not a good fit.

**Q: Has anyone used it for rollerskating or ice skating or roller blading? Is it helpful?**
A: Not for sure but it will support you ankle very well.  I highly recommend it.

**Q: Would this work for a child? He wears a youth size 4**
A: It would be a bit too big a foot that small.

I sprained my ankle ten days ago. It may have been when I got on a "Down" escalator, which for this older guy who uses a cane is never a comfortable thing to do. I bought an all-elastic ankle compression from my local CVS, but it provided little support. A daughter who has had more than a few sprained ankles said "Dad, I'm sending you a link. Get this." I did. Had it sent overnight. It has really helped. Each day is better than the day before. In a few days I'll be able to drive again. Simple and well made. As for comfort, yes, but for me healing has meant walking as little as possible, using my cane to reduce he weight on my right foot, keeping my leg elevated as much as possible, plus cold comreesses Good value..
