MISSHA Magic Cushion Foundation No.23 Natural Beige, Dewy Coverage

Decided to try this as I was on the hunt for something for *no makeup makeup* days and I was bolstered by the all the reviews that said they got *my skin, only better*. As soon as I got it I tried it with the sponge it comes with but found it to be a heavier coverage than what I was looking for. The next time I used a large foundation brush and stippled it into my skin. I did half my face with one tiny tap into the compact. It was beautiful. Although it looked way too dark for my skin tone while in the compact, it was a perfect match once applied. There was no caking or separating----it just looked like smooth, even, radiant skin. One tiny tap for each side of my face provided lovely light/medium coverage. Because such a very little goes a very long way I'm going to try one tiny tap for my entire face for the *no makeup makeup* days. If you're on the fence, please just try it. And you can't go wrong at that price!

My HG go-to foundation has been Alima Pure's satin matte mineral loose powder. I've been a customer for almost as long as the company has been in business. Throughout the years I have tried to find a liquid foundation that will work with my skin because I don't always want the powered look but wanted something that could make my skin look dewy and flawless. I'm on the pale end of the spectrum with acne-prone, combination skin. My skin is often both dry, flaky in the same places it is oily, with ruddiness on and around my nose and chin, and the occasional blemish or blemish mark. Liquid foundations seem to always make the appearance of the dryness much worse, clinging to flakiness, collecting in my pores especially on and around my nose, and fine lines, even with primer, or oxidizing to a shade that's incompatible with my neutral/porcelain tone. And forget about using an SPF moisturizer or primer before liquid foundation -- even after it dries, all the liquid foundations I have tried seem to slough off like pencil erasures. I bought the Missha compact based on the reviews and all I can say is that they DO NOT LIE. I LOVE. I'm about to repurchase! I haven't repurchased a liquid foundation product in... I don't know ... 10, 15 years? Now this is my first experience with cushion makeup so perhaps that's the key, but nonetheless, this makeup makes my skin even and glowy and doesn't cling to the flakes or make my dryness worse. It looks orange/oxidized in the compact but it does NOT go on like that or wear like that. The color is beautiful and a perfect match for me. The coverage is definitely better than other BB creams I have tried, and I need something with more coverage than a BB or a tinted moisturizer, but less than full coverage as that always looks cakey to me. You can build onto this coverage without it looking caked on. It looks natural. This doesn't make my skin breakout either. Sometimes it does sink into the pores on the ball of my nose making them more visible but I admittedly haven't been using this with a primer. I set it with my Laura Mercier loose setting powder. I've also been using the sponge that comes with it instead of a beauty blender. I can't wait to try my second compact with primer and a beauty blender, but even if I never do, I am so happy I have finally found a liquid foundation product that I can be proud to wear!!

great quality and works well with me acne prone combination skin. it blends well and more hydrated for my skin which makes it less cakey but the shades is brighter than expected and theres no no.25 and that is actually my shade. i bought no.21 and returned it cuz it was too bright and now no.23 but still pretty bright for my skin tone. texture is light. medium coverage. no skin irritation and fragrance free.

This product feels light but gives a lot of coverage. The color looked like it would be too dark in the pan, but it turned out to be a beautiful match for my cool-toned skin. The foundation minimized the appearance of my pores and doesn't settle into my lines. Application was easy. I used the included sponge, but I think this would also work well with a wet beauty blender. Excellent quality and value.

Quick Summary: The product goes on beautiful at first but about 4 hours in I was creasing and cakey. In depth review: Due to the pandemic and me working from home for the past year I decided to look for a cheaper alternative to my usual Estee Lauder foundation (Winter shade: 1W2 Sand, Summer Shade: 2W2 Rattan). I barely go out now and I used less than half my foundation over a period of 12 months. I have combination skin with my t-zone being oily and the areas around my nose being dry. Pros: - Buildable coverage. With one layer I was able to cover my redness and make my freckles more subtle. With 2 layers my freckles were covered the way I like them with it barely peeking from under. - Little bit of product goes a long way. Refer to my picture - that amount was able to cover half my face with a good coverage. Honestly it was like magic because I kept applying it and more just kept coming. - Looks amazing when first applied. My skin was beautiful (not under flash) when this was first applied on. It is dewy and looks just like skin. - Moisturizing. I used primer, powder foundation, and setting spray. Even after this my skin felt very moisturized compared to other foundations I have used, even Estee Lauder. - Has Sunscreen. As you can tell from my scary flash photo, this product has sunscreen which is why the skin is scary white. - Cute, compact, study cover. I only used this product twice but the cover for the cushion was cute and felt sturdy to me. It was smaller than the Etude House cushion makeup I also got. Cons: - Pink undertone (could be a pro for you). It was noticeable to me when I was passing by my reflection. With bronzer, contour, blush, and powder foundation (bare minerals Light 08 and yellow undertone and more suited for my skin for summer) it was less noticeable but I did not want to deal with having to make my foundation match my skin. - 4 hour mark is when my skin became noticeably cakey and creasing starting. Before the 4 hour mark my skin was very beautiful and natural looking. Once the 4 hour mark came and I checked my skin, it started to crease and get oily. By the 8 hour mark which was the end of my day I felt like my skin looked messy. Even with blotting to see if it would help, my skin still looked cakey. I did get oily with my Estee Lauder foundation however when I used tissue paper to blot my skin it would just take away the shine and my skin did not look cakey and creased like this one. However that is a +$40 foundation. - Transfers easily. About 2.5-3 hours in my skin started to get oily and because of this it transferred easily. Take what you need from this review. There are more pros than cons. I decided to return it and ultimately went with Etude House Double Lasting Cushion Glow shade 23N1 Sand because it looked better at the end of the day and was my exact shade. I was okay with paying $10 more for it.

Love it. With a light dip, it can give me full coverage for me. As I don’t use makeup all the time, this foundation is very easy to use on my face.

This cushion is pretty good! I don't do makeup outside of mascara almost ever, but even when I do put on makeup it's usually just foundation on the outside of my face for multiple reasons: it's where the majority of my acne was as a teen so it has the most discoloration, I have freckles across my nose and cheeks that I like and foundation always covers them up, I have really deep lines around my nose and on my chin where foundation always cakes no matter what so it looks messy, and putting a foundation just a smidge darker than your skin tone around your face will accentuate the rest and make you look more 3D and less flat than an even layer of foundation would. Now, I'm really pale. So many people say they're really pale but I'm REALLY pale, so I purposefully sought out a Korean cushion foundation because the Korean beauty standard is unfortunately extremely eurocentric so they often have a lot of the lighest foundations which made me figure I'd find a match for me better by looking overseas. I bought the lightest shade of this available and it is STILL too dark for me, which is pretty unfortunate. I'm also fairly cool toned, and from what I can tell these foundations seem to be more warm toned- but I don't do makeup and I'm not that smart with this stuff so I could be wrong. Also cushion foundations are supposed to be something you can slap on without needing to use a setting powder, but I find this foundation stays pretty tacky for quite a long time which makes it stick to my hair. This could be easily avoided with a setting powder, but I went for a cushion specifically because they're good to use for on-the-go touch-ups and as a base that doesn't need to be set, but I shouldn't have to buy an additional product just for this foundation to not be sticky for hours, especially since I don't even do my makeup like that. But for people who already have setting powders or are willing to purchase one, I don't think the tackiness would be a problem. IDK how good it is at sun protection since I always put sunscreen on under my foundation like you're supposed to, but I'd always recommend that you never treat foundation or powders with SPF in them as being adequate protection from the sun. All that aside, the cushion is still easy to use, it blends in well, and it never leaves my skin feeling or looking dry or greasy. I'm pretty satisfied, I think it'd decently friendly for beginners (as long as they don't press too hard on the cushion and get way too much foundation- a little goes a long way w/ cushions especially!), and I think people who do their makeup more often would appreciate this for doing touch-ups when out and about especially since it also has a mirror inside which can be used when touching up other makeup as well. If they make a lighter shade, I'd buy it again!

Dieses MakeUp hat mich wirklich überzeugt: Man brauch nur eine ganz kleine Menge, alles lässt sich gut verteilen mit dem mitgelieferten Buffer und es hat eine gute Deckkraft, die es schafft, meine leichte bis mittlere Rosacea abzudecken. Der Sonnenschutz ist prima und die Farbe passt auch perfekt. Die Dose ist praktisch und handlich, sodass man sie gut in der Handtasche mitnehmen kann. Meine Haut trocknet nicht aus und es sieht super natürlich aus. Ich werde es auf jeden Fall wieder bestellen! Wenns ginge würde ich mehr Punkte geben :)

Andando incontro alla stagione calda mi serviva un fondotinta che avesse un fattore di protezione alto ma che allo stesso tempo fosse idratante e coprente e che lo potessi portare comodamente con me. Ho deciso di orientarmi su un cushion spinta dalla curiosità di provarne almeno uno e così sperando di andare più a colpo sicuro ho scelto quello di Missha. Consigliato per: – Chi è alla ricerca di un prodotto ad alta coprenza; – Coloro che cercano di uniformare un tono della pelle non uniforme; – Coloro che desiderano un effetto rinfrescante e idratante, anche dopo i ritocchi. Non pensavo che un prodotto avrebbe potuto colpirmi così velocemente, invece sono rimasta piacevolmente stupita già dalla prima applicazione. Coprenza: già con una sola passata è molto alta, la spugnetta di cui è dotata la confezione stende perfettamente il fondo, basta premere nel cuscinetto imbevuto e poi picchiettare sul viso per stendere il prodotto. Il risultato sulla mia pelle è effetto pelle di porcellana, unificato e luminoso. La colorazione che ho scelto è la numero 21. Idratazione: Appena applicato si nota subito che non è un prodotto adatto a pelli miste/grasse, lascia la pelle idratata e morbida senza seccarla o segnarla anche dopo diverse ore che lo si indossa. Tenuta: ottima, resiste tranquillamente tutta la giornata anche su di me che tocco spesso il viso, sia da sola che fissata con la cipria. Alla sera, al momento dello struccaggio mi stupisco sempre di quanto prodotto trovi sui dischetti, a prova del fatto che è davvero a lunga tenuta. SPF: fattore molto importate infatti, perchè parliamo di una protezione molto alta 50+ che in estate fa sempre comodo. Packaging : Punto meno rilevante lo so, ma anche l’occhio vuole la sua parte! Trovo che il packaging, in plastica bianca e argento, sia molto elegante e raffinato, carino e comodo da portare con sé in borsa. Lo specchio all’interno è sufficientemente grande per i ritocchi al volo, inoltre il materiale sembra abbastanza resistente da sopravvivere a qualche urto.

I’m sorry but this product broke me out really bad. I’m not sure if the product is old/expired because it came quite dusty as well. I’m really disappointed for having to receive a product that I paid full price for. I hope it works out well for the others.

I like the product very much .It blends into my skin vey well and I really like the coverage.

The best cushion foundation at a reasonable price. The coverage is similar to Chanel Les Beige Cushion Foundation at a lower price, so i can use this everyday without breaking the bank. The only downside is the product finishes quite quickly.
