Good So Far
As of now, I have only used this hitch a couple of times. So far, I have been very pleased with the performance. I have used it on my F250 to pull a travel trailer that's roughly 7,000lbs. I felt a noticeable difference when using this hitch (as opposed to using no WDH). There was a noticeable improvement in sway control. It also helped dampen the porpoising tremendously. The set up for this hitch is also very simple (with the correct tools). As others have mentioned, it is also very quiet and light compared to other WDHs with sway bars. Overall, I have been very pleased with this hitch so far.

Great product, value, and easy installation
This made a huge improvement on towing my trailer. I was skeptical with the mixed reviews and just how different vs the competition. I tow a 32โ enclosed race trailer with golf cart and race car. I had troubles going much over 60mph without getting too much away and when semiโs or any large vehicle would pass I would get sucked in and spit out. After installing this Andersen sway bar system I can easily travel a comfortable 70mph and the sway from passing or getting passed is almost been completely eliminated. The truck still sags low in the rear but the trailer is level and pulls fantastic

Good chains. Easy disconnect and reconnect.
Worked good. I have a 39' travel trailer and there was still just a bit of sway but it corrected itself once the sway started. Still max speed 65mph. Maybe because the trailer is so long. A lot of trailer behind the back axle of the trailer. Probably works great with a shorter trailer. When I first got on the road it was still swaying a bunch so I stopped and tightened the chains more and that helped a bunch but didn't eliminate completely. Very easy to setup and disconnect . There was still occasional sway so I tried to tighten even more but that didn't seem to help. Pulling with f250 with air bags. I also adjusted air bags but that didn't seem to make a big difference either way I went with it.

Unable to properly tension and level tow vehicle and trailer per instructions.
I have not been able to adjust or tighten the Polypropelene snubers or cushions at the chain and bolt tensioners to lift either the truck or trailer to level the combination. I have a 3/4 ton truck and my trailer is 37 feet long with a tongue weight of approximately 1000 pounds. The aluminum socket that comes with the hitch is too shallow for the depth of adjustment needed to tension the chain bolts and stripped out. Using a better and deeper and stronger impact deep socket and I was not able to level the load as described in the instructions that come with the Anderson hitch. I am reluctant to tension the hitch greater than recommended in the writen instructions.

Easy installed with very detailed instructions
This hitch is a heavy duty unit. It is well thought out design that works very well and is easy to setup and adjust.

Anderson hitch works well.
This thing works really good! I watched the videos and the setup was very easy. I spent money on a more expensive hitch than didnโt work. It has great sway control and weight distribution. It also stops bounce. You have to dial it in. But when that is done no more white knuckling.

Entirely Different Towing Experience
We have a Grand Design Imagine 2800BH travel trailer. Weighs approx 7000lbs when traveling with gear. We towed it from the dealer with a Ford F250 with no weight distribution hitch and a bunch of weight in the bed of the truck. Though the truck could handle it and the trailer didn't really sway, the front of the truck felt a bit 'floaty'. It felt like the steering wheel was constantly shifting back and forth and not tracking straight. I felt really tense like I was constantly fighting the truck and needing to make little adjustments. Now that we plan on traveling with the trailer more often, we've installed an Anderson Weight Distribution Hitch. That hitch behind our new Ram 2500 makes towing a breeze. Without the weight distribution hitch, the truck squats about 2"-2 1/2" in the rear under the weight of the trailer. With the WDH, the truck only squats maybe 1/2" in the back. The front end of the truck feels planted and solid, like I'm in total control. Even with hands off the steering wheel, the truck tracks straight. Didn't notice any sway. And you can really tell the weight distribution hitch is doing it's job. Fairly easy to install, just make sure you have all of the appropriate tools listed in the instruction manual. Well worth the cost and would not hesitate to buy again.
