Diamancel Foot Callus Rasp no. 20
I have to agree with all the other reviewers and rate this product as excellent! If you have dried and callused feet this is the product you need. My feet were so bad looking I thought maybe I had some sort of foot disease but it was just dry skin and calluses. I tried several other products over the years that just did not work very well including natural and artificial pumice stones and the Ped-Egg that you see in stores a lot. After just 2 days use with the Diamancel rasp however, I removed virtually all the dead skin and calluses from my feet and they looked great. I coupled that with a nightly application of a foot moisturizer (O'Keefes, available at Target for about $6.00) and within the week my feet are now as smooth and silky as a babes foot for the first time in years! This product is basically a file that has diamond face to it which files away the dead skin but does not seem to affect living skin at all. It is very gentle and I have never felt like it would affect any living tissue or make my feet sore in any way. Its a little bit more expensive than other products but it really does work so in the end just throw away all that other junk that doesn't really do much anyway and it is a bargain. Its a little thin and seems flimsy but just put your finger on the back of it when filing your feet. It is actually quite durable and bends a little bit in use to accommodate the curvature of your foot. I wholeheartedly endorse this product!

I was hesitant to try it too! Somehow it does exactly what it says!
Cant believe it, this flimsy looking simple thing does a better job than any product Iv used before. It really works, I used it on my feet before the shower (must be dry) and it worked great and so quickly! I took my shower and used my usual red foot file (just a very little bit) and its be best results ever. It does feel daunting to spend nearly $50 on this product, but its the easiest to use and does the best job, also shows no signs of wearing out yet like most filing/sanding products. Its well worth the money.

MUST BUY FOR DRY CRACKED FEET!!!! IT WORKS
first off, i never ever write reviews, even when the product is great but i took the time to do this one because it works. I have had the worst callousy rough feet for about 4-5 years since i had my first child. I hate summer when i have to wear sandals and slipper becuase my heels were so cracked and dry, i was so embarrassed. I have tried so many products: from foot creme, emjoi devices, peels for the feet, results were so so and only temporary. I had seen this product on the today show and it recieved high praise. Yet i didnt purchase becuase it was expensive. I was at my wits end this month. My feet would catch in the sheet when i was sleeping, it was that bad. i was on the verge of spending $200 for clarisonic pedi foot device and then decided to get this file based on reviews. The day it was delivered, i was so excited, i took my socks off and started to file. well, i should have listened to reviewers, feet do have to be dry. My feet were not wet but i was wearing socks so they were not completely dry. however, when my feet were dry i went to work. needless to say i use it everyday for a few mins. it has removed all dry skin and my feet are smooth and baby soft. never would i have thought this could happen. Like i said i have been suffering with this for years now. I am looking forward to summer and wearing sandals. Trust me this works and i didnt think it was possible. The file removes rough dry skin in powder like form. it is easy to clean and easy to use. Dont be skeptical when u see the file as it is small and flimsly looking, but it does the work. highly recommended.

Great tool, but it looks wimpy!
While the diamancel is more expensive than what you'd expect for a file, it really is worth the value because it never gets dull. Regular foot files constantly need to be replaced. This one is also easier to sterilize as well. I've wanted one of these for awhile, and finally decided to treat myself. (Treat myself to a foot file, oh what an exciting life I lead!) Anyway, it works great, like all the other reviewers said. But I was shocked by how small and flimsy it appears. Being a diamond-coated piece of metal, I expected it to be firm and sturdy. Instead, the metal is extremely thin and flexible. So far it hasn't been a problem, but I feel like it would function better if the structure was more rigid. Perhaps the bendy-ness is a feature to keep overzealous filers from filing their heels right off? :)

Great For People With Tough Callouses
I have had a large callous for years and I have decided to rid myself of it. I did not know that much about foot care in the past, I was a tomboy and I've always heard men say things like callouses are good for you (they're not). I bought the #11 medium grit by this brand and used it for several months. I have discovered that taking care of your feet is about routine, you wash them at night, I just use my face wash and do it after I wash my face. Then you let them dry and rub them with your callous remover, then you rub vaseline into them and put on white socks and go to bed. I have seen tons of improvement in the appearance of my feet doing this. However, after removing the dry top layer of my callous, the underlayer just didn't seem to respond quite as well to the medium grit. I was impatient and decided to purchase this item. It is a lot smaller than the medium grit but it works a little differently. With the medium grit, I have to use it in a circular motion for it to work, with this one back and forth works. This definitely takes of more skin than the medium grit and after using it, your feet will look a little tore up. I just use this one first then go after it with the medium grit and it looks better. After using Vaseline you can't tell. So I think the medium grit #11 is all people with normal feet probably need but if you have callouses and hike, I think you should get this one. You don't have to finish up with the medium grit if you just want to remove the callous and aren't that concerned about your foot's appearance but if you want pretty feet and hike and have callouses, I think you should get both the 11 and the 20.

100% a scam.
Looks great in the photos but in person it’s the flimsiest foot file I’ve ever used. It’s so tiny and thin I couldn’t even find it in the package at first and thought it hadn’t been included. It bends when you apply a normal amount of pressure. For the quality, it feels like a $2 product at best. To be fair, it did file my calluses just fine – but I doubt it will last long. It’s labeled ‘coarse grit,’ but it’s not heavy duty. I’d describe it as a normal grit at best.

Gets the job done - Another guy review
The skin on my feet is really dry, especially the heels. When I run a lot and play basketball they start to crack and bleed if not taken care of. I've tried a lot of other products to solve this, like the ped egg and the pumice stone, and they just don't take off enough skin. I resorted to using sandpaper for awhile because that was the only thing rough enough to take off the tough callouses. The only problem with using sandpaper is that it wears out every few weeks and I have to purchase more. Plus it is a little too harsh on the skin. I did some research and found this Diamancel #20 file and ordered it. When I got it and took it out of the package, I was surprised at how flimsy it was. It has just a very very thin layer of metal wear the diamonds are attached, and then has about a 2mm acrylic plastic layer on the backside of it. Some reviewers say this is a good thing since it provides some flex when filing. For the high price, I wish the entire thing was solid metal. The file does work very well though. You have to use it when the skin is really dry. It takes off dead skin so easily. It is easy to clean as well and should last forever from what I can tell. I think this file is pretty much the best option that money can buy... I would recommend it to anyone.

Functional and indestructible
This works very well. Other reviews are correct that it looks a little cheap because it’s a thin piece of metal. But that’s all it needs to be to work. It’s a toss up whether it works better than a good quality glass callus file but this is infinitely better for travel. It takes up no space and won’t break if your luggage takes a shock. The only down side is that it’s more expensive than a good quality glass callus file.

Best foot file
When I received my file, I was disappointed. I was expecting the file to be bigger and heavier (metal). I thought that for almost 50$, this file was complete BS and that there was no chance this lightweight and tiny foot file could transform my feet. Nevertheless, I decided to try it after soaking my feet for a while and it did remove a good amount. After that initial use, I searched online to see what was the best way to use this file. They actually recommend using it on dry feet. The day after, I decided to give it another try, since I still had a little bit of calluses left but this time, I used it on dry feet. The results were AMAZING. This file gave me baby smooth feet. It honestly looks like a flimsy and cheap file (based on the look and feel, not the price tag lol) but it removed my calluses effortlessly and quickly. With other foot files, I would have to really get in there and apply a crazy amount of pressure. Doing my own pedicure was always very long and tiring. This file is a game changer. I don’t see myself going to the salon to get my feet done anytime soon. I highly recommend! I get decent amount of calluses on my heel and a little bit on the bottom of my big toe. I have used many foot files before (Mr. Pumice, Sally’s, Amazon, etc.) and noting compares to this. They would eventually remove a decent amount of dry skin, but I would always have to use a callus softener and sometime, they would My feet are super soft, rosy and pretty.

The best
I’m going to put it simply! It’s worth the money. I don’t usually remember to write product review but I need people to know that this product is THE DEAL! U don’t even need any other foot filer. Just use this on dry foot. Doesn’t use up energy and very efficient removes dead skin! 10/10

Very good foot file under certain conditions
I bought these late last year. I first tried it on dry feet. It worked better than any foot file I've ever used. I was first introduced to the Diamancel foot file when I watched a YouTube video by Abetweene called "DIY PEDICURE FOR CRACKED HEELS" In it, she recommends soaking feet for 10 minutes in warm water with epsom salt. She then dries her feet and uses the Diamancel #20 on the softened skin of her feet. I soaked my feet in hot water with a generous amount of epsom salt for 15 minutes. I dried my feet and went to work. A lot of skin came off. A lot flew off and quite a bit remained on the file which I had to remove periodically. I did not remove as much dead skin as in her video but I was very impressed. A few things I noted is that a foot soak for a significant duration is an absolute must. I recommend 20-30 minutes for stubbornly dry heels like mine. Another thing that helps is not to dry feet entirely but to leave damp. The foot file works great on slightly damp feet that have been soaked. Not dripping wet but damp. Finally, you may want to keep one foot in water bath while using the Diamancel foot file on the other foot. I found this helped with the most stubborn areas. Finally, as recommended in Abetweene's video, she added lotion/oil and slipped some silicone socks (they're sold right here on Amazon) to moisturize feet after the removal of all the dead skin. Cloth socks designed for feet that have been moisturized tend to absorb a lot of cream/lotion. The breathable silicone socks (you can put a pair of regular socks over if yours slip off) really help moisturizer penetrate especially if worn overnight. I highly recommend this foot file and strongly urge a long foot soak. I didn't give it 5 stars for several reasons. Firstly, it's on the small size for the price which isn't cheap. Secondly, while I've read it'll last, it feels flimsy. It isn't thick nor sturdy and the grip isn't the best fit for hands. My feet were so smooth and it removed old, stubborn dead skin on my heels that had been there for years. Without the foot soak, the Diamancel #20 wouldn't have worked half as well.
