This is a Good Product, I like the fact that it is made of RIGID Plastic.(Its firm and Does Not bend) I bought this For my MOM along with "Carson Optical Lighted Magnifold Magnifier" Since her eyesight was poor after cataract Surgery. I was However Very Disappointed that this Came with a 3 inch Crack in the Centre (even though the Package says Shatter Proof)...........Believe me .......it CAN CRACK...!!! The reason for this is that Amazon Shipped this Together with a Batter Charger and a Carson Optical Lighted Magnifold Magnifier in the same Oversize Box, with only one Small (insufficient) Plastic Bubble bag (on one side of the box), which left the Battery Charger bouncing around in the Box, hence this may have been the Cause of the Cracked Carson Optical Page Magnifier Fresnel Lens. I thought about shipping the Item Back, but when I checked the Postal rate (From my Country) it was about US $20, (several times more than I paid for it). SO It was not worth it. This is NOT the First time Amazon has Shipped a Package with Poor or Little padding inside the Box. My First Package I ever ordered was a Hardrive (there was only one Plastic Bracket at One end of the Hard drive (They did not put another One at the End to Secure it) Hence that one came Bouncing around in the Box also.) Seems like they Limit the Amount of inside Box Padding for many Items. I wish they would Properly Pad Boxes with Fragile items generously in future. At the End of the Day I live with the Crack on this Fresnel Page magnifier, I Use it Sometime for reading Classified adds in the Newspapers, Works fine (Once I dont position or look at the Crack in the Centre of the lens) when viewing fine newspaper Print.

IT TURNS OUT: that these things are directional - there is a front and a back. Who knew? (They didn't tell me, and I didn't see it in reviews.) So - the defective focus that I found on first use making it WORSE than no magnification, almost disappears if you turn it around. The prismatic part should face you. Other than the easy-to-scratch surface, I can now recommend it and added two stars. It's very convenient to one-hand use and store, and it covers a large area for reading. I would estimate it only loses 15% sharpness over the best headset magnifiers, of which I also recommend the Carson model as the lenses are extra wide for extra-wide coverage, at only about a 1/3 premium. Standard text that I can read fine, when viewed through this, becomes unreadable. I don't see the point. It also either came scratched or got scratched merely handling it to get it out of the package. It may have brushed against the round plastic shift lever in my 2005 Explorer. I'd say stick to one of the better head set units for computer and other use - my conclusion and I'm pretty good at this. And make sure the lenses extend to cover your whole eye so you can see the whole device screen at once. Nice size, my thickness.It's exactly what I wanted

It was delivered in a very firm/stiff package that was in a box with a paper cushion. Perfect condition. I got the 2x, and it's exactly what I needed to be able to read full-size (8.5 x 11") documents of standard type. More magnification would have been too large to read the entire document without having to move it around over the page. I wear glasses, and the two together work great. This will be very helpful until I have eye surgery.

I ordered one of these for myself because I love to read my Bible (very small print) and was also reading the 7 book series "Chronicles of Narnia" in paperback. Even with my new eyeglasses I had to strain my eyes a little to read the small print. I tried my wife's 4" magnifying glass but constantly movie it back and forth was a hassle. I ordered this full page magnifier - for the price I wasn't expecting a whole lot, but I was surprised. This magnifier was perfect for me. My wife is an avid reader, so after it arrived I showed it to her. I ended up ordering a second one. It works really well. I hold it about 4" off the page and have no problems seeing the text.

Es handelt sich um eine Leselupe in A4 Seitenformat, was für das Arbeiten auf Arbeitsheftseiten praktisch ist. So werden ganze Textabschnitte vergrößert. Man muss natürlich die Lupe ein Stück entfernt halten. Sie ist stabil, so dass das mit einer Hand gut gelingt. Möchte man beide Hände frei haben, sollte man doch besser ein Modell mit Ständer wählen. Was verwirrend ist: Auf der Verpackung und in der Anzeige steht "2x" was vermuten lässt, dass im Lieferumfang 2 Stück enthalten sind. Es ist jedoch nur eine Leselupe.

Cette loupe en plastique dur est très pratique. mais le mode de livraison dans dans un sac en papier souple est inadapté. Le plastique présente une petite fêlure qui n'empêche pas l'utilisation de cette loupe. Une enveloppe en carton rigide aurait été mieux adaptée.

I got this for my dad, he's 79 and has been complaining he struggles to see the word on the pages, this is roughly A5 size and he is so happy that he can read again!
