60 Piece Educational Jigsaw Puzzle for Kids - USA Map State Shaped - 16.5"x12.75"

It will be a gift so I have not opened it. It arrived in excellent condition and looks like it will be a great gift.

Wonderful puzzle very informative. The pieces don't stay together as as well as as they should otherwise it's a wonderful puzzle.

My two and a half year old daughter is into puzzles now so I decided to toss in a little geography while we were at it by getting this for her to do. Each puzzle piece within the lower 48 portion of the picture is shaped like the individual states, save for some of the small ones in the Northeast, which are bunched together. I regularly do this with her and now she knows where most of the states are along with their shapes and this is her favorite puzzle to do because of the added challenge. Aunts, uncles and grandparents are all wowed by how well she can do this puzzle and identify the states' locations (sometimes better than they can), and it's fundamentally the same skills as just doing a regular jigsaw. Amazing teaching product that is fun for the kids.

The states are all shaped like the states not puzzle pieces. This helps little ones learn their states. I like that the capitals are on each state. It gets a little wonky inside the frame at time due to the pieces not being interlocking in the interior.

Great puzzle; educational and easy to do. Maybe too easy. It took my 6 and 9 year old about 5 minutes to do the whole thing, and I was hoping for a more complicated puzzle. But I love that each state is a different piece, and they have significant things to each state. However, our puzzle had massively warped pieces so the puzzle doesn’t lay flat, and the pieces don’t connect well. I’m guessing the box spent time in a moist environment for a while, so these pieces may never recover. I also waited about 3 weeks for this because everybody was ordering puzzles for the quarantine. I’m disappointed to wait that long only to receive a warped puzzle.

Good quality jigsaw pieces. Not to thin cardboard. 4yo could place the larger pieces around frame. 9 year old could manage the small states. Added plus is they also learn the states.

This puzzle states that it is for five year olds, yet in my opinion, it's only for older kids who already know where all of the states are (and have patience for a poorly designed puzzle). It's made in such a way that the states don't fit together intuitively (ie don't click together, just go next to each other) and if you shift the puzzle a bit, the whole thing falls apart while you are doing it. Also, it's poorly made, since we received pieces that were bent (likely because the pieces are thin). Would not recommend this--now I understand why people buy the wooden puzzles of the US that already have a frame to fit the pieces within (and thicker pieces). All in all, this was a waste of money.

Daughter is a special ED teacher and her kids love it.

I had a puzzle like this as a child and loved it. this one is not as good quality, the pieces are thinner and made of cardboard not wood, and a few of them want to buckle a bit when putting it together. NY and PA have other states attached to them, which my old puzzle did not, it had a few of the smallest states together, but did a good job of keeping them mostly separate. But, for the money, and modern days in which they don't make the quality like they used to, it still was a good birthday gift for my 5 year old. He needs help putting it together, but I expected that, and expect he will grow into it and learn the states names and placement effortlessly as I did.
