Rollo Direct Thermal Label Printer is an excellent printer with very good speed. Had been searching for a good Mac compatible thermal printer. Almost decided about Dymo but that doesn’t like third party labels and the original labels are said to be costly.This settled the issue and I finally ordered this Rollo printer. And I am not disappointed. Even though the word “Unbranded” in the title of the listing discourages people but the good reviews on Amazon.com and elsewhere reassure about the quality and features of this Rollo thermal printer. Go for it!

We have been using a couple Dymo 4XL printers for several years and, for the most part, really liked them. I blamed the wasted labels on the aftermarket labels we were buying. My Dymo would jam once in a while causing me to have to take it apart, dislodge the jammed labels, clean it and put it back together. Then, labels would get off the mark and an extra label would print. It would always waste a couple labels when I put in a new roll. I just assume this was standard, had to live with, stuff. Until I got my Rollo. Holy cow, this thing is so much better than my Dymo. It reads the label positioning perfectly. Easy to load. No wasted labels at all yet. All those issues I blamed on the labels were actually the stinking Dymo. We print on average about 50 labels per day, more during the holidays, so not huge volume. The print quality is great. The speed is very nice. The label detection is amazing. If I had a third thumb, then that would go up as well. Two enthusiastic thumbs up. I am glad I gave this a try during Black Friday. This printer rocks and it is even cheaper than the 4XL. I bought a label holder since we generally use roll labels. Gotta say this thing is great all around, and the quality build seems really good as well.

Fantastic Thermal Printer for the money. Prints just as good as my $3000 thermal printer. Fast, clear and easy to use. It took me less than 20 minutes to set it up. Also, I read a review saying it doesn't print properly with Canada Post ship labels. Well, it does print them and very well to boot. Just need to use their software and set the printer setting to Thermal printing. Very pleased so far. Printed 20 labels the first day. I'll follow up with a review at a later date. Highly recommend this printer. Thank you

I waffled on getting this as it's a pretty large investment for me since I'm just a very small time reseller. However, I have not regretted it for one moment. Set up was so easy it's not even funny. As soon as I connected it to my computer, we were off and running. I have had no issues with it at all. It prints very well, you just have to make sure that it stays clean and is aligned properly. I use off-brand labels and they work just fine. It is so much faster and cheaper than using paper and ink and a traditional printer. It prints immediately and does such a great job. I had trouble in the beginning with something that was a user error, and customer service was extremely helpful in helping me figure out that I was just having a blonde moment. My cats have stepped on this and shuffled it around at times and it's still going strong. Great little label printer, highly suggest if you are wondering whether you should bite the bullet and get this, the answer is yes!
