S3 Phone Case with Foam Liner for Universal - Non-Retail Packaging - Black

Lighter, slimmer, and cheaper than my old Pelican 1060 case I've had for years. I use this to protect electronics and any delicate items in my backpack on a daily basis and when travelling. I bought the original Pelican 1060 at an Army PX back in 2005 before a deployment and it held up wonderfully. Now that I'm back in the civilian world, it's time to replace the chipped, scratched and cracked exterior. I don't need it bomb-proof, but I'd still like to keep a sturdy and waterproof case. Unlike the Pelican, the S3 uses a thinner, lighter plastic, does not have a pressure purge valve and, for me, only a minimal cushioned lining. The thicker, heavier plastic and purge valve I can live without, the Pelican 1060 was great but definitely over-engineered for my current needs. I took some heavy duty 3M hook fastener tape strips and attached it to the inside for additional padding. The hook side will also allow me to further secure content if I wanted by using the matching velcro loop strips.Tested in the sink and it is waterproof, feels sturdy enough to not get crushed in regular use, and latches are easy to manipulate but feel secure.

I bought the case for my iPhone 6 Plus. It fits with much room to spare. I have a wallet case for it and it fits with the case no problem. You could easily put two of them in it without a case, and maybe two with just a protective shell case on each.WARNING: pack it OPEN when traveling from high to low elevations (from low to high atmospheric pressure) or it will be useless at your destination. This case works very well, but you should not pack it CLOSED while in the Rocky Mountain (4500 feet above sea level) and then fly to the ocean and expect to be able to open it. It will be vacuum-sealed in essence once you get to the higher pressure at sea level. Could not pry it open with two people. Thought about using a knife but then that might ruin the seal/box.

Feels like a solid case, it's not only water tight but airtight - when it arrived it was hard to open because a partial vacuum had formed inside.I bought it to protect my iPhone 6s+ when I'm on the water, and this seemed to be the smallest case I could find that was fully waterproof. It's slightly wider and much longer inside. In terms of depth, there's plenty of room, but if your wallet is thick it won't fit in along with your iphone.I only gave it 4 stars because I'm dubious about the latches, they seem too easy to open. On my bigger Pelican cases (the black ones, not the partly clear polycarbonate ones) the latches take a lot of force to open. These seem like they might spring open if they're in a bag and get moved around.

Sturdy, reliable waterproof protection for stuff that MUST stay dry, like your phone! Unlike other brands, this manufacturer declares the box will remain waterproof down to 80ft. The inside is lined with protective foam to keep your stuff from banging around and the latches are tight enough to stay latched during use. I use mine mostly with a SealLine Seal Pak  SealLine Seal Pak, Grey/Grey  because I like the combination. I highly recommend this dry box. If I thought I needed another one, I'd buy it without hesitation.

SOLIDThis case is SOLID and completely waterproof. It snaps shut with two front clasps. Watertight up to 100 feet. Good for the price. Drawback is that their is only one locking hole so other side can be opened a bit even when locked. Overall a good product though.

Fits my Galaxy S5, in it's heavy duty Otter case, with room to spare. My friend has the next size up Galaxy phone with the equivalent Otter case and his fit just fine too. I'd say it's a safe bet that just about any phone will fit in this box, even in it's case.

Perfect fit for 1 or 2 iPhone 6s+; very protective as well as waterproof. I no longer worry about any damage to my phone when on a boat.
