I’ve been using these for decades. If they aren’t working for you probably you’re not using the liquid filter oil (the spray on works but the liquid oil stays in the filter better and increases the effectiveness of its filtering). Companies like outerwear make thin covers that repel rain and ultra fine particles if you’re in a place with micro-fine dust or whatnot. I wish they were less expensive but the pitch is hard to argue with… over the life of the motor you’re putting this on the filter will be less expensive (and more effective) than buying a lifetime supply of inexpensive disposable filters. And I’ve found that to be true. But I use them mainly for the performance increase. For instance, I’m using this particular filter on a Stihl chainsaw. It works great and I can literally feel the air rushing in through the intake faster than I could with the OEM filter or the foam unifilter type (both of which are great… but this filter simply lets more air in… saw runs better, cooler and has more low end torque (which is pretty important for a 7 horsepower 36” chainsaw) 😁

I mean, they're K&N...so they're nice. Two issues I have, the clamps are cheap and I despise them I think they could do better, second...no decals? Gone are the days of decals with parts I suppose

They are the coolest part of my 92 vn750! Easy to use and easy to clean. no jetting change yet, but with the exhaust mod to come, that will change.

I'm sure with the history of K&N these will perform just fine. The fit on this bike I put them on a vn750a and the fit was a bit challenging.

used these on my 1992 VN750 for what the forums call the "ear shave" as long as you are not afraid to do the future maintenance on these you should never have to replace them. So Far I have no problems and I logged over 800 miles on my ride with these on so yeah 5 out of 5 stars from me.

Typical poorly filtering K&N "filter". If there were ANY other usable alternative for the VN750, I would without hesitation. But all the other pod filters have a large lip inside that blocks the carb ports. The left pod required a lit of rubber trimmed off to prevent the end from rubbing the gas tank.

Using this on 1997 Suzuki Savage, good tight fit on carb, had to use a different clamp than what came with this as I wanted a good tight fit on carb and had to stretch the rubber neck a little more. Still fit easily. Looks and performs as I wanted.

Been using K&N air filters on all my bikes since 1989... need I say more? The best you can buy... simples
