Review: Works beautifully! - I have an older Craftsman saw so I needed to get a splitter since it doesn't have a riving knife and I bought a new setup clearance table insert. This was easy to install, the instructions are detailed and easy to read and getting it done from me about half an hour after reading the instructions. This definitely helps prevent dangerous kickbacks and works really well with keeping the parts right to the fence as I cut. Couldn't be happier!

I have an older Craftsman saw so I needed to get a splitter since it doesn't have a riving knife and I bought a new setup clearance table insert. This was easy to install, the instructions are detailed and easy to read and getting it done from me about half an hour after reading the instructions. This definitely helps prevent dangerous kickbacks and works really well with keeping the parts right to the fence as I cut. Couldn't be happier!

I am a woodworker of 40 years. I work alone much of the time and often thought of what would happen if.... My saw is an older model and never had a splitter. I have made many rips over the years and occasionally had a kick-back all because of no slitter on the saw. this is a great inexpensive safety devise. Easy to install. Also I recommend the Micro Jig push block system. It makes handling long or thin stock much safer. My saying is " if it doesn't feel right don't do it".
