did the trick
Had to bend the metal clips on the side to keep it held in place in the jack, but now fits good and does the trick. Speed tests are same as before, so no noticeable interference. I had originally ordered a blue one, but then read that green supposed to go to green, and blue to blue, and my fiber termination was green, so I canceled the blue one and ordered this green one.

Got the job done.
Was having a difficult time sourcing one of these locally as none fit a keystone blank. This was exactly what I was looking for. Quality and fit are excellent and functions without issue.

Doesn't fit patch panel
This product is great and does exactly what I expected. The only small issue is that the green ears/screw holes make this keystone too wide to fit a normal patch panel if the two holes next to it are populated (see photo). Easy fix is to cut off the ears.

Used this to add a wall jack connector for our home fiber internet
The original install of our home fiber internet was just fiber coming in from outdoors through a hole in the wall. We have pets with sharp teeth, so I wanted to be able to more easily replace this cable after a mishap without calling the ISP.So, I connected the ISPs fiber to this coupler, put the coupler into a keystone wall plate, screwed the wall plate over the hole from outside. Then, I connected my own patch cable between this and our modem. Internet still works great. Patch cables cost a couple of bucks, service calls cost a bunch more.

Works great
A little bit pricey for what it is, which is basically a coupler, but it fit the keystone opening of the wall plate I already had onhand perfectly and it joined the two plug ends of the cables perfectly.

A bit expensive, but works exactly as expected
The actual coupler is the same you'll find elsewhere for far cheaper, but there don't seem to be a lot of keystone versions of this little guy. But whatever, the unit I received worked perfectly. Unless you can find blank keystones sized for SC Simplex couplers, then this is a good option to go with.

Just what I was looking for
After my fiber internet installers came and went I wanted a cleaner set up at the wall Jack. This did the trick.

Modification required
Good white color and excellent fitment in a standard keystone wall plate. My experience: the coupler stayed in the keystone adapter until I inserted it into the face plate at which point even a small amount of force (like when mating the fiber cable) would push the coupler out of the keystone adapter and into the wall behind the face plate. Turns out the sides of the keystone opening in the face plate would push the metal wings on the coupler in, releasing the hold tension on the coupler. Super glue to the rescue. I simply bonded the coupler at each side where the green tabs touched the back walls of the keystone adapter.
