Our pilates instructor at the gym used these in a recent class and I liked the experience. It was different and a bit challenging. I took notice of the brand she used. After class, I searched Amazon and came up with other discs which were smaller and possibly a bit less expensive (but not by much). They claimed to be able to be used on either carpet of floor. However, some of the commenters said they scratched their wood floors. So I decided to go with this brand, for the following reasons: (1) It's the one the instructor selected for class; (2) I had already tried them out and liked them; and (3) remembering the exercises we did with them in class, I wouldn't want them to be any smaller. They came with instructions for some exercises you can do with them. Truthfully, I will probably not use them at home much. I will bring them to the gym with me, so that I can use my own discs ("I know whose bare feet have been on them") the next time she uses them in class.

I have a pair of plastic gliders that were supposed to work on hardwood and carpet surfaces -- but turns out they aren't slick enough to glide over hardwood. I found these after noticing they're the same brand my yoga studio uses and absolutely love them! While they're a little sticky on carpet, they work wonders on hardwood. Highly recommended.

I bought the gliding discs since I teach a barre class. I find these gliders work wonderfully on wood floors, helps achieve a deeper lunge and ability to add a foot flex onto the lunge. I also use them for upper body, floor-core workout. Highly recommend this product.

These are my favorite gliding disks I find the size perfect to accomodate different foot sizes. I have used other brands and do have difficulty when training some clients, they also glide smoothly.

I dont know why I bought these. I had this idea I would do all these sliding exercises. These things were useless. They are collecting dust now.

These are great for doing sliding workouts across hard surface floors. They have plenty of slip and won’t damage floors (I checked for marks and there were none). I’m very happy and would purchase again.
