This is an excellent guide to the synastry in the Indian ways. His approach on the concept of Porutthams is much like the way i conceived this and i feel relieved to see other astrologer with this view.

This is one of the most readable books on Astrology, and probably the best primer on relationship astro-analysis. It is very well written. Being an intermediate student of Astrology, I was able to follow the discussion of the entire book quite easily. It is definitely not for the beginner, but i think this is a must have for every serious student of astrology.

I read and loved their book Light on Life many years ago and it gave me the inspiration to learn Vedic Astrology, which is a complex and difficult subject to tackle. Light on relationships deals with the way Vedic Astrology views the profundity of human relationships. I did get bogged down sometimes - though that may be because of the incredible complexity of the subject. It didn't have the numinous sense of the previous book but there is certainly a lot of useful information to get your teeth into here.

Application of Yogi,Duplicate Yogi and Avyogi was first done by H.R.Seshadri Iyer in "New Techniques Of Prediction".But Their use in the domain of match-making is quite unique.The credit goes to Hart and Robert.Example charts are quite helpful.

The author explains how destinies of husband n wife are interlinked. A good book on Hindu astrology by a foreigner. A basic knowledge of astrology is must to understand this book.
