Fast and Reliable Performance - I get 44 Mb/s Read & 27 Mb/s Write
Between the two recent AirShows ( Wings Over Camarillo, CA and MCAS Miramar, San Deigo-CA ) and over 1200 pictures that I've taken at these events I can highly recommend you this Inexpensive and reliable SD card for your DSLR Camera Performance ------------------ - I purchased this SD card from Amazon specifically for the two Airshows mentioned above that I had been planning to visit for almost an year now and I wanted something fast , reliable and one that does not break the bank for my Nikon D5100 DSLR kit. And based on those parameters and my experience, it fits the bill perfectly - I used this SD card for several sustained 'Burst Shots' in Sports mode for capturing fast moving aircraft or taking a fast pic at the right moment when to aircraft were doing a fast head-on flyby (see pics) and this card did not let me down in any of those moments - I also did a synthetic benchmark performance test using the free software CrystalDiskMark : Claimed Performance : "Upto" 30 Mb/S Read and Write, 10 Mb/s Guaranteed Actual Performance : 44 Mb/S Read Max , 27 MB/s Write Max Overall Read Performance : 31 % Faster than max theoretical value claimed Overall Write Performance : 11% Slower than max theoretical value claimed The Good ------------- - Solid real world performance for taking Hi-Res RAW images in Burst mode without any issues - Excellent synthetic performance in benchmark tests as well - Comes with a plastic case for safe storage - Super inexpensive - 30 GB usable storage space - Good warranty policy Cons -------- - I have nothing to complain about this card at its price point - A word of warning thought , because this SD card is so popular, there are plenty of fakes out there , I would HIGHLY recommend verifying your product serial number with the Product Verification Tool on Transcend's official website Final Thoughts ---------------------- If you are looking for a good , reliable SD card that is good enough for fast, sustained burst photography that does not break the bank, you are looking at the right place. I can highly recommend this card

Excellent SDHC Card.
Its capable of recording about 6 hours of 1080P video, at 30 fps, and at 320 kbps on a ZOOM Q3HD. The Transcend 32 GB SDHC Class 10 card can also record about 6 hours of 1080P video at 30 fps on a GoPro 2nd Gen. It can also be used on a Nikon DSLR, as the Transcend SDHC Class 10 card it's capable of writing at a rate of 18 MB/s (a rate given by the manufacturer), consider this rate, if the size of the picture is 8 MB, an average size for a JPEG file in Fine Quality. Other feature to consider is the Built In Error Correction Code, which the manufacturer claims avoids transfer errors. In reality pictures come out beautiful. This particular card can store about 2100 pictures taken with a Nikon DX cam in JPEG format, in Fine Quality, and Max settings. The Transcend 32 GB Class 10 SDHC card can be found on Amazon for under $18 new with S&H included.

It does the job very well for my application
I've seen most all of the reviews here for this item's rating on read/write/transfer speed in cameras. That's all well and fine, but my application is a GPS, a DeLorme PN-40 to be exact. I purchased this card to keep all my TOPO9 maps so I won't have to load and unload whenever I go to different places to geocache. Note, if you have a PN-40 and want to load the entire TOPO9 series, you WILL need a 32GB card. Keep in mind now that the formatted size is 30.2GB, but yes, you will have a lot of space left over for POIs, too. Let's talk speed. I also have a Garmin GPS, and map update downloading takes about an hour or so for roughly 1GB transferred and configured mapping to internal memory. I inserted this particular card into my laptop, formatted it to FAT32, installed to my DeLorme GPS, fired up, and the card was immediately recognized. I began to install the TOPO9 maps through my laptop (lower 48 only) and watched the process. Two hours went by and only the first disc of four had been loaded. Upon looking at what had taken place, I saw that over 4GB had been written in two hours. A quick calculation told me that was about twice the speed as the Garmin download. In the end, close to 22GB had been written in about eight hours. Not bad at all in my book. There was right at 8GB of space left over for POIs and waypoints - far more than I'll use, I'm sure. As for boot up time, it now takes the GPS about another 12 seconds to boot up and begin looking for satellites, than it did with no card in the slot. Again, not bad at all. I bought mine at a very competitive price, but I see the price changes constantly. If knowledge serves me correctly, this card, as all memory, is a commodity item, so the price will fluctuate. When I bought mine, the price had changed three times in one day. I got mine in the middle of the range. Keep watching it because the price will change because it's the nature of the beast. I can't fairly compare it to the others at twice or three times the price, but I can say I am very pleased with the performance. I have not tried this card in a camera, so I cannot rate it one way or the other in that application. For the money, this card does the trick in a GPS.

Satisfied
Bought as a gift for my brother's GoPro HD helmet cam and needed a class 10 due to it being able to record in HD. So far no complaints. Have taken it out quite a bit of times and beat it up quite a bit while it was in the helmet cam and it is still running strong. Records and stops without any lag so the speed is not an issue and I get about 12 - 13 MBps when transferring from card to computer so it transfers nice and quick as well. Worth the money so far

Great card at a reasonable price.
Good card at a good price! Update: I used this card for my vacation Photographs and was extremely pleased. I have purchased other more expensive cards and have not seen any difference. I use this card with my Nikon D3200. In regards to the card speed, I was extremely satisfied. I was taking a mixture of still life and motion pictures. After taking a photo I was quickly able to snap photo after photo in RAW images. If you're wondering what difference speed makes when taking photos, here is a short summary from the following site: http://kb.sandisk.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/1996/~/difference-between-speed-class%2C-uhs-speed-class%2C-and-speed-ratings "Rated Speed (e.g. 15MB/s, 30MB/s, etc.) is maximum speed of the card and also what you would expect to approximately see in typical usage of writing or reading files on the card. This measurement is pertinent to still photography, especially for taking pictures with high resolution and/or saving in RAW format where the files created are very large. The faster the card, the faster it can save the file and be ready to take another picture. You can really notice speed differences with high-megapixel DSLR cameras when using multi-shot burst mode."

Best Upgrade Yet
Best upgrade we've done for our Nikon D3100. Absolutely worth the money, it's like a new camera. Previously we noticed very poor quality video when we attempted to shoot short HD videos with the camera, this card solved that completely. The Class 10 seems to offer the highest write speeds our camera would support, and it is great at what it does. Can hold thousands of very large photos, but I would not suggest that you try and store that on the card. Biggest benefits seem to be the speed of the cameras recovery time between shots, the quality of the HD video, and the ability to set the camera to the highest levels of photo size for amazing clarity without concern for running out of space on the card. Must have option for your digital media recording equipment if compatible.

Great for the LS-20M, and Digital Cameras!
If you're using the Olympus LS-20M HD Video/Audio Recorder , it slips right in, and gives you HOURS of 96KHz/24-bit studio-grade recording (great for meetings and lectures, etc), and allows for some good recording time for HD Video mode. As a Class 10, it's fast enough to use in your camera, such as the Sony HDR-PJ10 High Definition Handycam Camcorder with Built-in Projector (Black) I use myself. It also is fantastic in all the point and shoot digital cameras, like the Kodak EasyShare Z1485 14MP Digital Camera with 5x Optical Image Stabilized Zoom and 2.5 inch LCD (Blue) and the higher-end units in burst mode. What matters is speed and capacity. This card gives you BOTH, and at a reasonable price. The price ratio is well below .64, so it's a sweet balance!

The Fast & The Furious
Well, ok .... , maybe not the furious, coz I've got reason to be furious with this card at all. But blimey, is it fast :) It works perfectly in my Panasonic camera recording HD video and when you come to transfer the images and video files onto the laptop (via the built in card reader in my Acer) .... it's as quick, if not quicker than a Hard drive transfer. I would highly recommend this to any camera owner :)

Simplement utile
Superbe carte SDHC de 32 Go.
